5 Tekken Characters Appearing in the Latest Trailer

Tekken 8 Character Gameplay

So, so far, there are several characters that have reappeared in the newest installation, Vicigers.

Let's take a peek together:

Lars Alexandersson

The first is Lars Alexandersson, one of the most popular characters in the Tekken video game franchise.

This character was first introduced in the game Tekken 6. He is a military officer from Sweden who has very strong fighting skills.

In the game, the character Lars adapts Tekken's martial art called Tekken Forces Martial Arts. His fighting style is fast, with fairly tight and regular combo sequences.

Lars looks dominant in displaying electric elements in various moves. Even this characteristic is still maintained in Tekken 8 and seems to be strengthened by the addition of a dark whirlwind.

Paul Phoenix

Next comes the legendary character that many people already know, namely Paul Phoenix. As one of the iconic characters, he was first introduced in the game's first installation back in 1994.

This character adapts three martial arts at once: Karate, Judo, and Baji Quan. This combination gives him a fighting style that relies on heavy punches and slams.

The trailer again shows the existence of old techniques, such as Heavy Power Punch and Burning Fist, which are polished with new looks and effects.

Marshall Law

In third place reappears Marshall Law, an old character who is well known and synonymous with Bruce Lee. He has also appeared from the first Tekken installation, even though he was "absent" in Tekken 3.

Even though Bandai stated that the character's martial style does not adhere to a particular genre, his appearance that is so similar to the Asian film legend makes him worthy of being called a Jeet Kune Do user.

The released trailer shows that Marshall Law's old 10 Hit Combo can still be accessed in his newest installation. In addition, old moves such as Rave House, Sommersault Kick, and Charge Power Punch are also maintained.

King

All gamers who have played Tekken must have idolized this character. That's right, King the "tiger head" is ready to return to the game.

As a professional wrestler, you can guess that his fighting style relies on wrestling techniques. This is also strengthened by the flow of the Lucha Libre technique, and the Armor King it has.

The character's signature technique reappears in the trailer, such as Tomahawk, 10 Hit Combo King, to Muscle Buster.

JinKazama

In the last place, of course it would be lacking if it didn't present the main character: Jin Kazama. This character, who is often used as a Tekken "mascot" by Bandai, was first introduced in Tekken 3.

The flow of fighting styles carried by the pure character is an invention in the Tekken universe, namely Mishima Style Fighting Karate, and Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts. Even so, both are based on the martial arts of Kyokushin Karate.

Moves such as Corpse Thrust, Kazama Style Turning Leg Strike, and Median Line Destruction can also be found again in the installation. Tekken 8 later.
