What is a Custom Variant?

Custom Variants is a feature that allows sellers to freely add product variant names without having to select a variant from the available list.

How to use Custom Variants?

When adding or changing a product, select the option Custom Variants, then enter the variant name according to the product being sold.

What are the conditions for creating a Custom Variant?

Custom Variant Names must meet the following requirements:

• Maximum 50 characters.
• Does not contain prohibited words or terms.
• Must not be the same as a Custom Variant that has previously been created on the same brand.
• Differences in the use of uppercase and lowercase letters are not considered different variants.

Example: “Weekly Pass” And “weekly pass” will be considered as the same variant.

Why can't Custom Variants be created?

Custom Variants may not be created due to:

• The variant name exceeds the 50 character limit.
• The variant name contains prohibited words or terms.
• The variant name has already been used on the same brand.
• The brand or product category does not yet support the Custom Variants feature.

Can Custom Variants be disabled?

Yes. Custom Variants that violate the terms may be reviewed and disabled by the admin.

Attention: Custom Variant Names must not contain elements of SARA, hate speech, harsh words, or other content that violates VCGamers' terms.

What categories and brands support Custom Variants?

The Custom Variant feature is only available on Category And Brand certain features that have been enabled by VCGamers. Currently, the feature is available for Category And Brand following:
