ONIC Sanz Profile

As an eSports athlete, Sanz, who is more familiarly called Gilang, really started his career from scratch. His participation in MPL was not just like that.

Before appearing at ONIC and tasting the Premier League, he had already performed brilliantly in the Development League (MDL) arena. At that time, he was part of the Victim eSports team, which had now disbanded their Mobile Legend division.

In MDL Season 1, the jungler along with other members of the Victim team won the title after defeating the Recca eSports team as their toughest competitor. The MDL version of “El-Classico” match, took place quite fiercely.

The two of them played against each other. In the end, Victim eSports managed to beat the opposing team with a final score of 3-2.

His achievements in the minor league arena have made him eyed by big teams. Before Victim finally decided to freeze his operations, he had already been proposed to by the team with the yellow hedgehog logo.

He officially joined the ONIC roster starting in MPL Season 6. At that time he and his team were only able to reach the top 4 positions out of a total of 8 teams that played.

But slowly but surely, he and other team members began to look like they had promising prospects. This was proven when finally the jungler with ONIC was able to win the MPL Season 8.

Sanz himself can be said to have a fairly wide hero pool. As a jungler he can play a variety of roles that are worthy of filling that role.

Cambodia 2023 SEA Games National Team Roster

Seeing Sanz' progress with ONIC who was at the peak of his performance, this made the jungler selected to attend the national team selection to represent the country in the prestigious 2023 SEA Games Cambodia.

He gets the “ticket” to compete for the midlaner position. Under the auspices of the Red and White Flag and the Garuda Emblem, 19 prospective athletes competed to choose the best.
