The final match this time was filled by the two strongest teams from each region. Blacklist (BLCK) International from the Philippines, the former M3 world champion, and ONIC Esports, MPL ID Season 11 champion.
Both teams themselves have a track record that is not canned. BLCK, who has always emerged as a champion or runner-up in every prestigious professional match they have for the last 3 years, has a very famous reputation in the MLBB community.
Meanwhile, ONIC, who were able to finish in the regional premier league with only 1 defeat, also did not want to be lenient at this year's event.
And history finally recorded ONIC's name as the winner. They got this after defeating two of their strongest rivals from the Philippines: ECHO as the former M4 world champion in the semifinal match, and BLCK himself in the final.

MSC 2023 final match highlights
The final match this time carried the best of 7 (BO7) format. This means that the first team to secure 4 wins will emerge as the champion. Many parties have predicted that the match this time will be fierce and acquire all seven matches.
In the first match, ONIC appeared more dominant. The neat game shown by the Indonesian team is truly ONIC's unique characteristics. The 1-0 score was also secured by Butss the offlaner, with his Uranus hero, who appeared as the MVP.
Entering the second match, ONIC won again easily. Their counter setup strategy was really able to make BLCK players go wild. As a result, with only 1 wave minion, they managed to flatten the opposing team's base turret.
In the third match, BLCK managed to provide their strongest resistance. The unique setup that only relied on Beatrix as a late game damager managed to mess up the strategy of the “yellow hedgehog” team. As a result, the score was created 2-1.

After some troubleshooting, the MSC final continues. This time, in the fifth match, ONIC still had to feel the ferocity of the Filipino courtier. With the wipe out result achieved by BLCK, ONIC is still "giving breath" to the opposing team with a 3-2 gain.

MVP and MSC Champion Prize 2023
Even though many thought that Kairi would emerge as the MVP, it turned out that for the final match this time, the best player title went to Kiboy the roamer! With Chou's hero who penetrates enemy setups, he is able to pick off crucial heroes from BLCK.
That way, Kiboy alone managed to get an MVP prize of USD 3K or approximately IDR 44 million. As for ONIC, they secured the main prize of USD 140K or IDR 2.1 billion!
