Profile of Calamity Ganon

Calamity Ganon okay

Ganon has an appearance that is quite strange and scary at the same time. He has a scorpion-like figure with a large head and long flowing red hair typical of Ganondorf.

This creature fights using combination attacks created by Blight Ganons for the events of the Great Calamity. This attack of his can provide equal resistance to the power of the Master Sword.

Great Calamity itself is an event where Calamity Ganon rises and enters the Divine Beasts and Guardians, kills Champions, and destroys the kingdom of Hyrule.

After the incident, he was then temporarily sealed by princess Zelda and stopped the catastrophic event.

You will meet Calamity Ganon in the Hyrule Castle chapter which is the last chapter in the game Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The battle with this final boss will likely be very different, depending on how far you have progressed in the game.

Technically, to finish Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you only need to complete the first and last quests because the middle quest is optional.

If you haven't managed to defeat the bosses of the four great dungeons, then any bosses you haven't fought will appear in Hyrule Castle.

To make the game easier, you can defeat Waterblight, Windblight, Thunderblight, or Fireblight Ganon before entering this chapter.

Gauntlet Mode will also be applied to Hyrule Castle, where they will continue to appear one by one after you have successfully defeated them.

If you are killed by one of the final bosses, then you have to start over from the beginning with the first boss.

Before facing Calamity Ganon, it's a good idea to complete all the quests in this game to be better prepared for battle.

During game progress, you will get 4 four Divine Beasts that will attack simultaneously and take half of Calamity Ganon's HP.

This final boss has the biggest attack compared to the other 4 defeated Ganons. Calamity Ganon can even copy their attacks.

He can shoot ice blocks at you like Waterblight Ganon and to melt them you can use Crynosis.

Calamity can also attack you with lightning spikes like Thunderblight Ganon did, all you have to do to avoid this attack is run.

He has also mastered the power to create tornadoes like Windblight Ganon which you can run away from.

Lastly, this creature can also imitate the attack from Fireblight Ganon which is shooting a fireball into battle. To dodge, shoot the fireball with an ice arrow before it hits the ground.

Not only can she copy the power of the other 4 Ganon, Calamity also has several melee attacks where she will swing her fiery sword horizontally and vertically.

He will also swing his smaller blue sword and like the other Ganon, Calamity will shoot lasers at you.

You can target Calamity and when she fires her laser, jump to the side to avoid her attacks.

There are several ways to beat the final boss on this one, before that you have to know if this one creature has 2 phases in the fight.

First Phase

During the first phase of the fight with Calamity, you can shoot Bomb Arrows or Ancient Arrows at it.

Even though it doesn't do much damage, using these two types of arrows will gradually reduce its HP.

You can also use Perfect Dodge or Perfect Guard. Perfect Dodge allows you to do a set of Flurry Rush and several attacks during slow motion scenes.

You can use Perfect Dodge when Calamity tries to attack you with his big fire sword. If he gives you a horizontal slash, jump back before the sword hits you.

If he gives you a vertical slash, you just have to jump sideways. By setting the right timing, you can beat Calamity easily.

You can use Perfect Guard when facing melee attacks from Calamity Ganon as well as when he fires lasers.

However, Perfect Guard carries a high risk. If you make one mistake, then you will not have enough defense and will take serious damage.

Second Phase

The second phase of Calamity Ganon will occur when half of his HP is reduced. However, if the fight starts with half your HP remaining, the second phase will start when you have one quarter of your HP left.

In the second phase, attacks using Bomb Arrows will not deal any damage to Calamity and she will become even more aggressive in shooting her lasers.

Apart from that, Calamity Ganon will also do another attack where he will throw his spear at Link.

When it falls to the ground, Calamity will make a blue circle around it. If you are inside the circle, you will be damaged.

When Calamity managed to take a hit, she would need a few seconds to recover and regenerate her shield impenetrability.

If Calamity attacks you with its lasers, just keep dodging it. This is because his attacks can make your shields disappear and you will quickly run out of shields during this fight.

Keep your distance to stay close to Calamity, but don't get too close. By being near him, Calamity will issue a melee attack.

When he starts attacking, set the right time to do Perfect Dodge. Keep doing this until you beat him.

So, that's the article about profiles and how to beat Calamity Ganon in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. What do you think?
