How do affiliate links work?
- In the affiliate dashboard, you can select VCGamers digital products and create a unique link.
- Share the link on social media, forums, blogs, or with your friends.
- If someone clicks on your link and makes a purchase (digital product) — successful transaction, then you get a commission
- Commission is only calculated for transactions that legitimate And not canceled/refunded
Is it permissible to use paid advertising (ads)?
Of course you can, as long as:
- The advertisement is not misleading (e.g. false claims)
- Ads do not use the VCGamers name illegally
- You follow the rules of the advertising platform (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads)
If in doubt, ask the affiliate support team first.
How long will my affiliate link be active & what if a user buys it a few days later?
- Affiliate link is active during 1 year from the time of creation
- We also use the system 7-day cookie: if someone clicks on your link, then buys within the next 7 days (without clicking any other links), you still get a commission
- If he clicks on your link again within 30 days, the cookie period is renewed again to 7 days from the last click.
What are the consequences of breaking the rules?
If you are proven to have committed fraud, spam, misleading promotions or other acts that violate the Terms & Conditions, then:
- Affiliate accounts can permanently blocked
- Undisbursed commissions can be scorched
- You can no longer participate in the program
So, always try to be honest and transparent in promotions.
