Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Gets New Tracks In New DLC!

Mario Kart 8 just delivered updates new to the DLC of games those for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass.

The announcement made by Nintendo on March 17 2022 is of course good news that Mario Kart 8 players have been waiting for.

This game, which has been released for a long time since 2014, will get various developments as well updates some fixes game features this after almost 8 years of not getting updates.

This game, which is part of the Mario Bros franchise, adds variety tracks new and tracks old that you can try and feel the nostalgia of playing games this.

This Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update is part of wave 1 of the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

This latest update brings Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to Version 2.0.0. This version was launched on March 21, 2022. 

Players who don't have this DLC will still be able to play it on Mario Kart 8 but in random. 

Apart from this, item boxes now take less time to regenerate when the player picks them up, and there are a number of fixes and various other issues that have been resolved “not listed” below, which improves the overall gameplay experience.

Following are the Mario Kart 8 DLC Deluxe Update Patch Notes:

Support for DLC

  • If one player in the lobby has a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe “Booster Course Pass,” all players can choose one tracks from pass courses
  • It also supports “Friends,” “Wireless Play,” and “LAN Play.”
  • Starting from March 21, 2022 players can choose course from the Booster Course Pass. which can also be used in the “Worldwide,” “Regional,” and “Tournaments” features.
  • Even if no player has the “Booster Course Pass,” players will still be able to play course randomly without any picking feature.

Update General

  • The regeneration duration of a Box item (Item Box) is shortened if the box has been taken by another player. 

Fixed Issues

  • Issues and errors for communication at the moment online matches totaling 12 players has been fixed. 
  • Players are required to download updates latest to play features online play
  • If you have downloaded updates latest version, you will not be able to play with other players in the “Wireless Play” or LAN Play” features that are still using updates which has not been updated.
  • Data updates load all issues that raise gameplay and other content that has not been inlist for Mario Kart 8.
  • You will need system memory or a microSD card with enough storage to download updates Mario Kart 8's data.

New Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Tracks

Mario Kart 8 DLC Release Is Split Into 6 Waves

Nintendo has finally announced the new Mario Kart Deluxe DLC. Released together Nintendo Switch almost more than five years ago, Mario Kart Deluxe has been in need of an update for a long time, updates,  or even a sequel. 

Nintendo announced that as many as 48 tracks (tracks) is coming to the racing game using this Mario Bros character.

This track is very diverse and is divided into 6 waves (6 waves) to launch all tracks already planned.

The tracks on Mario Kart Deluxe aren't all that new. You will taste some tracks familiar from various games Mario Bros franchises other than Mario Kart 8.

Some of the tracks are remastered versions of classic Mario Bros races such as: Coconut Mall from Mario Kart Wii, Choco Mountain N64 and Tokyo Blur from Mario Kart Tour.

On  Wave One (Golden Dash Cup & Lucky Cat Cup)  which was released on March 18, 2022 there are 8 tracks released. The following is tracklist added on updates Wave One version 2.0 Mario Kart:

Golden DashCup

  • Paris Promenade (Mario Kart Tour)
  • Toad Circuit (Mario Kart 7)
  • Choco Mountain (Mario Kart 64)
  • Coconut Hall (Mario Kart Wii)

Lucky Cat Cup

  • Tokyo Blur (Mario Kart Tour)
  • Shroom Ridge (Mario Kart DS)
  • Sky Garden (Mario Kart: Super Circuit)
  • Ninja Hideaway (Mario Kart Tour)
