Ibis Piercer Genshin Impact: Stats, Materials, Character Recommendations

Ibis Piercer is a 4 star bow that you can get as a prize from the main event update 3.7, Duel! Summoners Summit.

You must collect up to 1000 Invocation Coupons to be able to exchange it with this weapon.

The refinement material used is Congealed Pupa Wax. You can get this refinement material from the event shop for a maximum of 4 items to achieve maximum refinement (R5).

Ibis Piercer Bonus Stats and Effects

Ibis Piercer's main stat will provide additional ATK stats and additional ATK% in the second stat. So, very good especially for DPS characters.

The additional total ATK given is 44 at level 1, up to 565 at level 90. In addition, the added ATK% will provide 6% ATK at level 1 to 27.4% ATK at level 90.

In addition to increasing ATK and ATK%, characters using the Ibis Piercer will also get a bonus called Secret Wisdom's Favor.

Secret Wisdom's Favor will increase the Elemental Mastery of the character will increase by 40 at refinement 1. At max refinement (R5), Elemental Mastery increases to 80.

This Elemental Mastery increase will occur with a duration of 6 seconds after Charged Attacks hit the opponent. The effect of this bonus can be triggered once every 0.5 seconds.

You can stack this bonus with a maximum of 2 stacks. That is, you can get an increase in Elemental Mastery by 80 at refinement 1 and 160 at refinement 5.

We take an example using Tighnari. When you use a Charged Attack and deal DMG to an enemy, the Secret Wisdom's Favor effect will immediately activate with a duration of 6 seconds giving Elemental Mastery +40.

You then use Charged Attack before the duration runs out to get a second stack which gives an additional +40.

Furthermore, the bonus will be continuously activated and the duration will be calculated separately.

Ascension Materials

The materials you need to ascend the Ibis Piercer sword are as follows:

• Drops from Eremites enemies are: Faded Red Satin, Trimmed Red Silk, and Rich Red Brocade.
• Forest Dew ascension material set weapons: Chopper Talisman of Forest Dew, Iron Talisman of Forest Dew, Silver Talisman of Forest Dew, and Gold Talisman of Forest Dew.
• Drops from Elite Enemy Hilicurl Rogue's enemies, namely: A Flower Yet to Bloom, Treasured Flower, and Wanderer's Blooming Flower.

Hilicurl Rogue is the newest Hilicurl enemy type. You will find a lot of this Hilicurl in the latest desert area which was released in update 3.6 then.

There are 2 types of Hilicurl Rogue that have just been released when this article was written, namely: Anemo Hilicurl Rogue and Hydro Hilicurl Rogue.

Best Character Recommendations for Ibis Piercer Users

As previously discussed, Ibis Piercer will be very suitable for use by characters, especially Genshin Impact DPS characters.

The high base ATK and additional ATK% will make DPS with any element. Ibis Piercer will be very suitable for use by DPS characters whose talent kit focuses on using Charged Attacks.

Besides that, the characters are make use of elemental reactions as a basis for getting the biggest DMG and requires a lot of Elemental Mastery it will be very optimal to provide DMG when using this weapon.

From our experimental results, the Ibis Piercer would be best suited to a DPS-like Charged Attack focus Ganyu and Tighnari.

Both characters have gameplay that emphasizes Charged Attack as the main attack that deals the greatest DMG from the character kit.

Apart from Ganyu and Tighnari, other DPS like Amber and Childe (Tartaglia) is also still very suitable with this weapon.

As previously mentioned, it's still very possible for characters who require high Elemental Mastery such as support characters Anemo or Dendro to use this weapon.

Venti, Collei, Faruzan, and Fischl that you build as support will be very suitable for using the Ibis Piercer as one of your mainstay weapons.
