As we know, in the Goblin Slayer universe, each character has their own unique strengths. What's even more exciting is that they don't rely solely on physical strength and superhuman strength.
Experience, cunning, magical mastery, and co-optability also determine the outcome of battles. This is what makes the story increasingly complex—much like the Shonen genre in general.
In fact, quite a few characters are inferior in skill but still manage to win simply by relying on thorough preparation. So, who are the characters who deserve to be crowned the strongest?
So here are five characters chosen by VCGamers who deserve to be on the list based on their abilities, experiences, and achievements in the development of the storyline and narrative plot:
Spearman
As the name suggests, Spearman is a Silver-ranked adventurer, using a spear as his primary weapon. Yes, he's one of the characters who's appeared from the beginning of the series.
Together with their partner, Witch, they are considered one of the strongest parties (duos), earning the nickname "Frontier's Strongest." It's no wonder they've survived until this chapter.
Goblin Slayer
As a protagonist, Goblin Slayer deserves to be on this list as well. Despite his Silver rank, the knight has no ambitions beyond slaying the evil spirits. Goblins only.
Although he specializes in slaying Goblins (low-level monsters), he possesses a wide range of skills—like most Silver rankers. He's best suited for fighting stronger monsters, though.
Lizard Priest
Lizard Priest is a protagonist who is one of the strongest characters and a fan favorite. Rather than a lizard, he actually looks more like a mix of human and dragonborn.
As a Lizard Priest, it's natural that he possesses abilities that are already strong from his very beginning. And with his chosen job combination, it's no surprise that the Lizard Priest is ranked Silver.
Heroes
Hero is one of the most powerful adventurers in the series. Unlike Goblin Slayer, which focuses on hunting goblins, Hero undertakes a much more complex type of mission.
And this includes facing threats from Devil's King (Demon Lord) and also defeated him. It was through this success that he finally managed to easily rise to Platinum rank.
Sword Maiden
Sword Maiden is a former Gold-ranked adventurer who fought a major battle against the Demon King. She is now the Archbishop of the Temple of Law, the Supreme God.
Despite her permanent blindness, this hasn't hindered her. As of the current arc, Sword Maiden is still described as one of the strongest entities in the human race.
