The Origin of the Juubi

The 10 Tails or also known as Juubi is a Biju which is the incarnation of a tree called Shinju, which is worshipped as a god.

This tree produces Chakra Fruit, which appears once every thousand years. Although it is forbidden to consume it, Putri Kaguya Otsutsuki keep eating the fruit.

The power he gained from the Chakra Fruit was then used to end the endless war between humanity.

Some time later, Princess Kaguya gave birth to two sons, namely Hagoromo and Hamura who became the first humans with chakra.

Enraged by the power her children had gained, Kaguya then fused with the Shinju tree and transformed into the Ten-Tails entity.

He then caused a lot of damage to the world with the aim and effort of reclaiming the lost chakra.

In the final duel against their children, Hagoromo and Hamura managed to defeat Kaguya and the Ten Tails and then sealed them within Hagoromo's body.

This legendary moment recorded in history later earned him the nickname “The Sage of the Six Paths”.

When he learned that his death would release the Ten Tails into the world, Hagoromo then split it into nine Biju with the Creation of All Things jutsu.

Next, Hagoromo used Chibaku Tensei to seal the Ten Tails in a shell form and make it into the moon.
