Who is Suguru Geto?

Suguru Geto is one of the four special class jujutsu sorcerers who ever existed in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen and is also the main antagonist in the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0. He was born and educated at Tokyo Jujutsu High School with Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri under the guidance of Masamichi Yaga.
His appearance is very distinctive, with long black hair often worn up in a bun, dark gray eyes, and a calm demeanor. During his school days, Geto was known as the most polite and serious student among his peers.
The biggest turning point in his life came after witnessing the death of Riko Amanai the Plasma Star in front of a crowd of people who applauded instead of mourning.
It was that moment that slowly changed his views fundamentally until he finally slaughtered more than a hundred ordinary civilians in one night.
Suguru Geto Facts

Here are some interesting facts about Geto that are worth knowing more about:
Possessing Unrivaled Curse Techniques
Geto's curse technique, Jurei Soujutsu, or Curse Manipulation, allows him to absorb cursed spirits through a black orb. This makes him a highly versatile combat wizard, capable of casting curses of various classes as needed.
His collection of curses includes two special-level cursed spirits, Tamamo-no-Mae Incarnate and Nue. His ultimate technique, Gokunoban, gathers all of his cursed energy into a single, destructive attack.
Killed by his own best friend at the end of JJK 0
One of the most emotional moments in all of Jujutsu Kaisen is when Gojo Satoru ends Geto's life after the fight with Yuta Okkotsu. Gojo didn't let anyone else do it because for him, only he had the right to end his best friend's life.
Geto died with a smile on his face, implying a part of him was relieved. This brief but emotionally charged farewell was a touching scene.
His body was used as a vessel by Kenjaku
After Geto's death at the end of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, his figure still appears in the main series as one of the driving forces behind the Shibuya Incident's biggest conflict. In reality, it's no longer the real Suguru Geto who appears, but rather Kenjaku, a millennia-old ancient sorcerer.
The easiest way to differentiate between the original Geto and the Geto version Kenjaku is the visible stitch mark on his forehead after the transplant. Kenjaku chose Geto's body specifically because his curse manipulation technique was key to carrying out his master plan.
Wearing a Monk's Costume as a Symbol of Irony
After leaving high school Jujutsu and starting his new life as a curse user, Geto instead chooses to wear a typical Buddhist monk's costume. Akutami admitted that this costume choice was deliberate to create irony between the image of monks, synonymous with peace and goodness, and Geto's dark deeds.
Monks in Japanese tradition are often viewed as trustworthy and spiritual figures. This contrast between their seemingly holy appearance and their utterly sinister intentions is what makes Geto's presence so compelling.
His voice Filled by the Very Experienced Takahiro Sakurai
Anime version of Suguru Geto got a very appropriate voice actor, namely Takahiro Sakurai, who is widely known as one of the most versatile voice actors in the Japanese anime industry.
Sakurai is already well known for his iconic roles including Cloud Strife in Final Fantasy, Zombieman in One Punch Man, and Sae Itoshi in Blue Lock.
