Assassin's Creed Rogue on the Nintendo Switch

Assassin's Creed Rogue deserves to be talked about specifically. As one of the sequels, of course Rogue is a series of installations that have continuity from one to another.

Although not one games Assassin's Creed who got qualified reception. However, the continuation of the storyline that is stretched will be a shame to miss, especially for connoisseurs of the stealth genre on this one.

It's only natural that finally Ubisoft as the developer also released the remastered version on the next gen console (Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia), even after 4 years since it was first released.

before going into the title Rogues, it's better if we first discuss about the game Assassin's Creed first.

This is done so that later the Vicigers who don't really understand this franchise can take part in further discussions.

As we understand, Ubisoft is a developer who is very skilled at creating stealth “parkour” games. Starting with the Prince of Persia scheme which was very successful in its time, they also used this formula to issue their masterpieces.

Yep, Assassin's Creed! Since the appearance of its first installation in 2007, this action-adventure game series has become very famous and popular. The uniqueness of this game is the past setting it carries, with accurate historical settings and interesting gameplay features.

In accordance with the title, players will control the figure of a member of a secret society called the Order of the Assassins. Their goal is to fight their rival organization, the Knights Templar, for world domination.

Uniquely everything that happens in the game itself is based on a historical fact that actually happened in the real world. The existing setting is modified, so that the existing storyline seems as if the order/templar is involved in it.

Players will be brought to enjoy various past civilizations, such as ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, Renaissance Italy, and South America in the 18th century. This provides a more immersive experience as well as increases the player's knowledge of past facts.

Every event that occurs in the game is also designed precisely like a real historical record, you know!

Things like the date of major events, the anniversary of someone's death, legendary discoveries, everything was really made to happen exactly: it was as if the assassin had taken part in it.

As for the Rogue installation itself, it was developed and published by Ubisoft in 2014. This game is the 7th installment of the Assassin's Creed sequel, as well as being the "little kid" for seventh generation consoles (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360).

The selling point of this installation itself is the storyline it has. He continues the story setting of Assassin's Creed III and IV: Black Flag. Meanwhile, from the title alone, the plot that is carried more or less can already be seen.

Rogue (which means traitor) is set in the 18th century. This game tells of a former Assassin named Shay Patrick Cormac, who turned into a Templar. Players will be led to see the storyline of the 'traitor'.

Rogue's gameplay also offers a different experience from previous games. In addition to fighting, exploring, and completing missions, players can also explore the sea (seafaring) that stretches around America and the North Atlantic.

Seeing the connection between Assassin's Creed Rogue and its predecessors and successors (Assassin's Creed Unity), this installation is very important so that the existing storyline is not interrupted.

The four installations are mutually sustainable and create a complete universe. That's why, for those who really want to explore this one game franchise, VCGamers highly recommends playing Assassin's Creed Rogue.
