Psaro is the offspring of a human and a demon king (his father): Randolvo the Tyrant. He decided to take revenge on Randolvo after he and his mother were expelled from their village.
However, he has a curse that prevents him from harming anything with monster blood. With the help of Monty, a monster wrangler, Psaro begins his journey as a Monster Wrangler.
This game offers exploration with many variations. Players will explore the human world and the demon world of Nadiria which are divided into 6 realms called 'Circles'.
Each Circle has 3 parts (Echelon): Bottom, Middle and Top. There are several seasons available, and each season will change the landscape appearance of the area.
This season system can open up new avenues for obtaining treasures, and also spawn rare monsters. This makes Dragon Quest Monster: The Dark Prince dynamic and more complex.
