Synopsis of the Anime Kimetsu no Yaiba

Kimetsu no Yaiba tells the story of Kamado Tanjirou who lives with his family on a remote mountain. Even though they live a simple life, Tanjirou and his family live happily.

Since his father's death, Tanjirou has had to support his family by working in the village under the mountain to sell charcoal.

One day, while on his way home from selling charcoal, Tanjirou arrived late at night on the mountain.

He is then forced to spend the night at the house of an old man who warns him about a man-eating demon that usually roams the forest at night.

Tanjirou then decided to stay and returned home the next day. Upon arrival, he discovered a terrible sight.

Her entire family has been killed, leaving Nezuko who has turned into part of a blood-eating demon.

In order to avenge himself, he then left his house to find a way to treat his sister so she could turn back into a human.

Tanjirou then joins the Demon Slayer squad and starts his new life as a demon hunter.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Anime Watch Order

What order to watch the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime? For those of you who are new to watching, here is the order!

Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 1

To start an anime marathon, you can start from Kimetsu no Yaiba season 1 which was released in 2019. Season 1 of this anime contains the manga story from chapters 1 – 53.

Season 1 consists of 26 episodes, where you will be introduced to the main characters in this anime, including the Hashira.

Mugen Train Movie

After watching Kimetsu no Yaiba season 1, what you should watch next is Mugen Train The Movie. This film covers chapters 54 – 69 of the manga.

A series of mysterious missing person cases begin to spread on a train. The Demon Slayer Corps has been trying to solve this problem. Unfortunately, there have been no visible results from these efforts.

To prevent additional victims, the Fire Hashira, Kyoujurou Rengoku took over the case in order to get rid of the existing threat.

Not alone, the Hashira was accompanied by new squad members, namely Tanjirou Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira.

The Entertainment District Arc brings the adventures of Tanjirou Kamado in the Yoshiwara Entertainment District along with the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui.

A vicious demon is rumored to roam Yoshiwara. Tengen Uzui gathered information from his three wives and when he couldn't contact them, the Hashira went straight into the field.

The trio of protagonists, Tanjirou, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are again assigned to accompany Tengen Uzui to search for the whereabouts of the Uppermoon demon.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Entertainment District Art consists of 18 episodes and summarizes the story from manga chapters 55 – 97.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Swordsmith Village Arc

The Swordsmith Village arc was released in 2023 and consists of 11 episodes that summarize chapters 98 – 127 of the manga.

For centuries, the Demon Slayer army has kept the location of the Swordsmith Village a secret, which is the village that produces the best weapons for their troops.

After his sword was damaged, Tanjirou, along with his younger brother Nezuka, was taken to the village to get a new one.

The appearance of several Upper Rank demons at once means that he once again has to protect the village from a sudden attack.

Two Hashira from the Demon Slayer squad, Hashira Mist namely Muichirou Tokitou and Hashira Cinta Mitsuri Kanroji also participated in the thrilling epic battle.
