PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023
For those of you who don't know, PMGC itself is the biggest tournament held by Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation for the PUBG Mobile game.
Apart from that, it is also an international competition event for the best teams in various countries who compete in the PUBG Mobile game.
Teams competing here must go through regional qualifying rounds before reaching the final stage, namely the Grand Final.
At the Grand Final stage, like other tournaments, the teams have to win prizes and become champions.
This year, the PMGC 2023 tournament series will be held in Istanbul, Turkey from November 2 2023 to December 10 2023 and several teams have entered the Survival Stage.

PMGC 2023 schedule
As previously mentioned, the PMGC 2023 tournament has been held since November 2 2023.
The tournament schedule, from the League Stage to the Grand Final is as follows:
- League Phase: 2 – 19 November 2023.
- Group Green: 2 – 5 November 2023
- Group Red: 9 – 12 November 2023
- Group Yellow: 16 – 19 November 2023
- Survival Stage: 22 – 24 November 2023
- Last Chance: 25 – 26 November 2023
- Grand Finals: 8 – 10 December 2023

Format
According to liquipedia, the following is the PMGC 2023 match format, namely as follows:
- League Stage: 2 – 19 November 2023
- 48 Teams are divided into 3 groups (16 teams each in each group).
- Each group plays in a certain week with 24 matches.
- Each week consists of 4 match days.
- Every day consists of 6 matches.
- The top 3 teams go straight to the Grand Finals.
- Positions 4 – 11 advance to the Survival Stage.
- The bottom 5 positions will be eliminated.
- Survival Stage: 22 – 24 November 2023
- The 24 teams will be divided into 3 groups (8 teams each in each group).
- Each group competes in 6 matches per day, totaling 18 matches over 3 days in a Round Robin format.
- The top 16 teams will immediately advance to the Last Stage.
- The bottom 8 teams will be immediately eliminated.
- Last Chance: 25 – 26 November 2023
- A total of 16 teams will compete.
- Total 12 matches.
- The top 5 teams will advance to the Grand Finals round.
- The bottom 11 positions will be eliminated.
- Grand Finals: 8 – 10 December 2023
- Consisting of 16 Teams.
- 14 Teams from League Stage.
- 2 Teams from the Invitation Route
- There will be 18 matches.
- Consisting of 16 Teams.

Prize Pool
At PMGC 2023, of course the team that will advance to the Grand Final round will receive a prize of $3,000,000 or the equivalent of Rp. 46.9 billion.
If the team that passes to the League Stage will still get a prize of $1,580,000 or the equivalent of Rp. 24.7 billion and if the team that passes to the final round will receive $1,420,000 or the equivalent of Rp. 22.2 billion.
The winner of PMGC 2022 is S2G Esports from Turkey who competed in the Grand Final round at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta.
