How to Make an Ender Chest in Minecraft

How to Make an Ender Chest in Minecraft

Even though it can be found in End City, you can also get this chest by using two items, namely Obsidian and Eye of Ender.

Obsidian is a block formed from water flowing over a lava source. This block generates naturally in the Overworld, The Nether, and The End.

To mine obsidian, you can only use a diamond ax or another ax of higher quality.

Whereas Eye of Ender is an item that can be used to find the location of a fort and activate the portal inside.

You can get this item by combining two items, namely Blaze Powder and Ender Pearl in the menu crafting 3x3.

After successfully collecting the two items above, now you can make an Ender Chest. Here are the steps:

1. Go to menus crafting 3 x 3
2. Place the Eye of Ender item in the middle
3. Next, fill in the blanks with Obsidian
4. Done, you have got this multi-purpose chest!

How, simple right? If you need more than 1 chest, you only need to repeat the steps above until you get the required amount.

Ender Chest Function in Minecraft

This chest has the same function as a chest in general. The storage in this chest is also separate for each player so that the items stored in it cannot be seen or taken by other players.

In addition, even if all existing Ender Chests are destroyed, the items inside will remain safe and can be retrieved by placing other chests.

If you want to expand the storage capacity of this one, you can pair it with a shulker box.

You can put the items you want into the shulker box then place them in the chest.

Apart from being a place to store items, this chest can also be an alternative light source because it can emit level 7 light.
