Here's how you should follow:

  • Open the Oculus app on the PC and turn on the Oculus Quest 2 device
  • In the Oculus app, select Devices > Add Headset > Quest 2 
  • Select Link (Cable) as the connection method
  • Plug one end of the USB cable into the Oculus 2 headset, and the other end into the PC. Please note that the USB cable must be a 3 meter long USB 3 C to C cable and capable of supporting data and power simultaneously
  • In the Oculus app, click Continue . On the screen that appears next, you can choose to test your cable connection or press Continue

Here's how you should follow:

  • Connect Quest 2 and PC to the same Wi-Fi network and the network must be 5GHz
  • In the Oculus app, select Devices > Add Headset > Quest 2 
  • Select Air Link (Wireless) as the connection method
  • Put on the headset and click the Oculus button on the controller. Touch right to open the universal menu
  • Hover over and click the clock on the left side of the universal menu
  • When Quick Settings appears, select to open Quick Settings
  • Click the gear icon in the top right corner to open the full Settings menu
  • Select Experimental
  • Search for Air Link, and activate it 
  • Go back to Quick Settings, then click the Air Link button on the left
  • A window will appear showing all the PCs on your network with Air Link available. Select the PC to pair with
  • The pairing code will be displayed in VR. Remove the headset and confirm that the code you see on the computer matches what you see on the headset
  • In the Oculus app, click Confirm 
  • Put the headset back on and select Launch to start using Air Link
