For those who don't understand, Eevee is a specific type whose evolution pattern is very different from Eevee Pokémon other.

If other Pokemon only have one evolutionary form in each phase (outside of regional forms, and various advanced evolutions), so far Eevee has eight evolutionary forms!

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't mean it can evolve eight times! An Eevee can only evolve once.

However, the trainer can choose so that his Eevee can change into one of eight existing forms.

Each evolution has a different type, and the shape of the changes will also be very identical to those types.

So unique, Eevee's evolution process has its own signature name among Pokemon lovers, which is called Eeveelution. The eight forms are as follows:

  1. Eevee (Normal type)
  2. Flareon (Fire type)
  3. Jolteon (Electric type)
  4. Vaporeon (Water type)
  5. Espeon (Psychic type)
  6. Umbreon (Dark type)
  7. Glaceon (Ice type)
  8. Leafeon (Plant type)
  9. Sylveon (Fairy type)

For information, Eevee and its eight evolutionary forms are not immediately introduced at once, you know Vicigers. They appear in this franchise gradually.

For the Eevee, Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon, all four were introduced in the first generation. Seeing the fans' interest in the concept, in the second generation Espeon and Umbreon were introduced (as well as the day and night features in accordance with the real world clock).

Then in the fourth generation enter Glaceon and Leafeon, followed by Sylveon (as the newest) in the sixth generation. And it's not impossible, seeing that there are still many types that don't have an Eeveelution form yet, in the future there will be new forms popping up!

So, now we move on to discussing how to evolve it in Pokemon Go. Of course as one mobile games which is a spin-off, the evolution system that applies is also different from that in the main series.

Then there will be effective tips for doing the evolution Vicigers, and I'm sure there are still many who don't understand!

For the record, in the main series, Eeveelution methods can generally be categorized into two:

  1. Exposes Eevee to certain evolutionary stones;
  2. Leveling under certain conditions (learning moves of a predetermined type, being in a specific location, having a specific status, or doing it at a certain time).

However, because the evolution system in Pokemon Go is not based like the system above, inevitably Eeveelution becomes different again.

Yep, just like evolving the others, Pokemon Go players have to collect candy to be able to do it. Especially for Eevee, players must collect as many as 25 and can be obtained by catching as many Eevee as possible or transferring the 'stock' you have.

So, now tips for your Eeveelution to be the type you want! It must be understood that if you don't follow these tips, your Eevee will just randomly turn into three first generation Eeveelutions. So in order to complete the collection, here are the tips:

Rename Eevee Before Evolving

These tips only apply 1x for each name:

  • Vaporeons: Rainer
  • Jolteon: Sparky
  • Flareons: pyro
  • Espeon: Sakura
  • Umbreons: Tamao
  • Leafeons: Linnea
  • Glaceons: Rea
  • Sylveon: Think

To see whether it works or not, make sure the silhouette of your Eevee evolution resembles the desired Eeveelution shape.

Manual way

This can be done if the naming allowance above has run out, or you don't want to use the trick above.

  • Vaporeons: Random evolution;
  • Jolteon: Random evolution;
  • Flareons: Random evolution;
  • Espeon: Make Eevee Pokemon Buddy, then cover walking distances of up to 10km. Once achieved, evolve during the day (shouldn't be at night);
  • Umbreons: Make Eevee Pokemon Buddy, then cover walking distances of up to 10km. Once achieved, evolve at night (shouldn't be during the day);
  • Leafeons: Evolve your Eevee within range of a Pokestop equipped with the Mossy Lure Module;
  • Glaceons: Evolve Eevee within range of a Pokestop area equipped with the Glacial Lure Module;
  • Sylveon: Make Eevee Pokemon Buddy, then complete the “Earn 70 Buddy Hearts” evolution mission (earn 70 Buddy Hearts).
