This time we will review the Freedom Sworn sword Genshin Impact. This sword is released as the signature sword for the character Kaedehara Kazuha.

This sword, which is included in the Millennial Movement series along with Claymore Song of Broken Pines and bow Elegy of the End, has a uniqueness where you have to obtain a certain number of Sigils to get bonuses from weapons.

Freedom Sworn is a 5-star sword that you can get from a limited banner event weapon or “Epitome Invocation”.

When this article was written, Freedom Sworn was released in update 3.7 along with other swords namely Light of Foliar Incision.

Freedom Sworn Stats and Bonuses

Freedom Sworn's main stat will provide additional ATK stats as well as additional Elemental Mastery in the second stat. 

The additional total ATK granted is 46 at level 1, up to 608 at level 90. The 2nd stat of Freedom Sworn will increase the user's Elemental Mastery by 43 at level 1 to 298 at level 90.

Freedom Sworn sword users will also get a bonus called Revolutionary Chorale. This buff is part of the “Millennial Movement” buff which has the same serial weapon.

Even though they are similar, the buffs given are different and cannot be stacked or stacked bonuses if the characters in the party use this weapon series.

Revolutionary Chorale will increase all DMG the character deals. 

DMG at refinement 1 will increase by 10% and a maximum of 20% at maximum weapon refinement (R5).

When a character who uses Freedom Sworn triggers an elemental reaction, the character will receive a sigil known as the Sigil of Rebellion. 

When a character has 2 Sigil of Rebellion, the Sigil will be used up and all characters in the party will get the bonus effect "Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance".

“Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance” will increase the DMG of Normal, Charged, and Plunge ATK by 16% and increase ATK by 20%. The buff will last for 12 seconds.

Once this bonus effect is triggered, the character will not receive Sigils of Rebellion for the next 20 seconds. This buff also cannot be stacked.

The effect of the Sigil of Rebellion can be triggered once every 0.5 seconds and can be triggered even if the weapon user's character is not on the field. 

In addition, each Sigil of Rebellion will last for 30 seconds if not used or when you don't get 2 sigils.

Freedom Sworn Ascension Material

The materials you need to ascend the Freedom Sworn sword are as follows:

• Drops from Samachurl's enemies are: Divine Scroll, Sealed Scroll, and Forbidden Curse Scroll
• Weapon material ascension Dandelion Gladiator set: Fetters of the Dandelion Gladiator, Chains of the Dandelion Gladiator, Shackles of the Dandelion Gladiator, dan Dream of the Dandelion Gladiator
• Drops from the Elite Enemy Humanoid Ruin Machine series enemies, namely: Chaos Device, Chaos Circuit, and Chaos Core.

All Samachurls of any element can drop materials. The higher the level of Samachurl, the greater the drop and rarity drop given.

The Humanoid Ruin Machine is the Ruin Guard, Ruin Hunter, and Ruin Grater. You won't get this drop from the Ruin Sentinel which gives the Chaos Axis drop.

Recommended Best Characters for Freedom Sworn Genshin Impact Users

Freedom Sworn will be very suitable for use by characters, especially characters that involve a lot of elemental reactions as a kit that gives the greatest DMG from the character's build or gameplay.

So, this weapon will be very suitable for Sub-DPS and support characters Genshin Impact.

There are several criteria for support characters who are suitable for using Freedom Sworn to the fullest, namely:

• Can trigger elemental reactions both off field and on field
• Characters can deal optimal DMG on multi-element instead of mono-element teams
• Requires Elemental Mastery and ATK stats in the character build kit

The criteria mentioned earlier do not have to be owned by the character. However, characters who can meet more than one criteria will be best suited to wield this sword. 

From the results of the VCGamers experiment, Freedom Sworn would be most suitable for use by Kaedehara Kazuha.

As an Anemo elemental character, Kazuha can activate the bonus effect of the Freedom Sworn sword quickly because the character's ability kit can easily trigger elemental reactions.

Bennett, Jean, Traveler Dendro, and Kuki Shinobu are also very good at using this weapon because it can easily trigger elemental reactions off-field.

Albedo can also use this weapon provided she is not in a mono Geo party so that it can trigger elemental reactions Crystalline.

Nilou, Kaeya, and Layla can also use Freedom Sworn as a weapon selection option.  

However, these three characters are more optimal in dealing DMG when on-field so they can choose other weapons that have an Energy Recharge stat such as the Favonius Sword.
