Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Start Date

Through its Twitter account @FortniteStatus , Epic Games announced that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 will end sooner, namely on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Looking back, a new season of Fortnite will usually start the day after the previous season ended. So, it's very likely that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will begin on Thursday, March 9th. 

Officially, Epic Games has yet to announce the start of the new season. Also, there's never been a consistent time for a new season of Fortnite to start, so we'll have to wait for an official announcement from Epic Games.

This latest update is likely to be available for many game platforms, starting from Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X&S, Android, to PC.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 File Size

Usually, new seasons of Fortnite come with huge updates. However, so far Epic Games has not officially announced the file size of the upcoming season. 

Whereas in Chapter 4 Season 1 yesterday, the update file size reached 11.8GB to 17.4GB, it all depends on the platform used.

However, according to Mirror.co.uk the update on Chapter 4 Season 2 will not be as big as the previous season, because this season presents several new islands.

New Skins for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

There isn't much info out there regarding the latest skin from Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 at the moment. However, based on existing rumors, there is a skin battle pass for the upcoming season.

Collaborations between Family Guy and Fortnite have been reported for several years, and in 2021 several files with clips from Family Guy were discovered containing Street Fighter Ryu and Chun-Li's skins. 

Popular Fortnite leaker, ShiinaBR reported that last January there was a male skin being worked on with the code name 'FrenchFry'. And the skin file code matches the one found in 2021.

So, it can be concluded that the skin for the latest season of Fortnite is still just a rumor.

New Map of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Same with the newest skin, the Fortnite map hasn't been revealed yet. However, every new season of Fortnite usually brings several new areas to the map. 

According to rumours, Tilted Towers could return in Chapter 4, so we'll likely see it as part of Chapter 4 Season 2.
