PS5 Pro

Currently, rumors are circulating about Sony who will release their newest console, namely the PS5 Pro. Even from the news that is scattered on the internet, many say that the PlayStation 5 Pro will be released in 2023.

The pro version will certainly bring many improvements compared to the regular version, both in terms of design and specifications.

So far there have been several leaks regarding the PS5 Pro on the internet regarding design and specifications. To find out more details, let's look at the following discussion!

Based on the information shared by Tez2, later the PlayStation 5 Pro will bring specifications with significant improvements from its predecessor.

However, because this is still a rumor, it is not yet clear what kind of improvement the PlayStation 5 Pro will bring in the future.

Until now, there are no PlayStation Studios games that can support 8K resolution, even though the regular PS5 is claimed to support 8K.

With the upcoming launch of the PlayStation 5 Pro, it is hoped that Sony will really be able to bring 8K resolution, be able to run 60 fps consistently, and be able to run 4K games and ray tracing.

Meanwhile, in terms of processor, Sony is rumored to be using a processor made by AMD, namely AMD Zen 4, as well as an RDNA-3 GPU.

If the rumors regarding the use of the processor and GPU are true, then this will be one of the improvements on the PlayStation 5 Pro. Because in the regular version it uses an AMD Zen 2 processor and an RDNA-2 GPU.

It is rumored that the storage itself will increase from the previous version, from 825 GB to 1 TB.

As well as for cooler temperatures, the PlayStation 5 Pro will use water cooling which is normally used on PCs.

The reason for using water cooling like this is because of the increased specifications on the PlayStation 5 Pro which will make this console heat up quickly if you use regular coolers.

Therefore, the use of water cooling is considered the right choice to stabilize the console's temperature.

According to the news circulating, later the PlayStation 5 Pro will have a different body appearance than its predecessor.

This is based on Sony's long history of launching consoles with different designs.

Another rumor says that the PlayStation 5 Pro body will be slimmer than usual. That's because Sony's latest console will use a disk drive that can be removed.

Where with this feature, later the disk drive can be connected using the USB Type C port to the PlayStation 5 Pro.

Based on the launch history of previous PS consoles, it is predicted that the PS5 Pro will be released in September 2023.

As for the price, the PlayStation 5 Pro will be sold at a higher price than the regular version, this is because the specifications that have been brought have increased a lot.

So it won't be surprising if later, after the official release, Sony sells the PlayStation 5 Pro at a price of 599 dollars to 699 dollars or if it's around 9.2 million rupiah to 10.8 million rupiah.

However, because so far there has been no official statement from Sony, it is possible that there will be many more changes in the future both regarding specifications and price.
