After March 8 2024, the famous publisher ATLUS released an RPG game Unicorn Overlord the work of Vanillaware developers. Reportedly, next June, ATLUS will release it games new title Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance.

According to a tweet post on the Atlus West Twitter account (@Atlus_West) on Thursday (21/03/2024), the game Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be released one week earlier, on July 14 2024 to be precise.

Previously, ATLUS also released Shin Megami Tensi V in 2021. At that time they managed to sell 1 million copies worldwide. 

In the middle of this year, the newest series will be released offering exciting gameplay, stories and new features.

Based on information from several sources, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has two different storylines. 

First story, Canon of Creation will follow the original story told in Shin Megami Tensei V. 

Meanwhile in the second story, Canon of Vengeance will bring a new story about the story of revenge. 

The difference between the two is in the middle and ending of each story.

Each story has a varying game duration, namely 60-80 hours. So to complete both story lines it takes around 120-180 hours, depending on the number of failed missions.

Quoting from the Sega Asian (EN) Youtube channel, this game will have a different gameplay mechanism from its predecessor.

A new element that appears in the gameplay of Shin Megami Tensi V: Vengeance is the addition of unique skills for each demon in the party. 

The addition of this element will take up a different slot from other skills, so the characteristics of each devil's playing style will change. 

ATLUS also confirmed the inclusion of new Da'at, dungeons, sub quests, and new quality of life changes.

Certain demons have new skills so their gameplay style is different from previous games in the series. 

In addition, the audio and graphic quality of this game has been adapted to modern generation consoles so that it will bring a better gaming experience.

Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance Playing Console

Shin Megami Tensi was previously only released exclusively for Nintendo Switch. However, this latest series will be released on various platforms and game consoles. 

On June 21 2024 you can play Shin Megami Tensi V: Vengeance on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PCs.

You can pre-order this game starting now. If you pre-order, you will get the item Haraedo Beads to heal team members, and Gleam Grenade to attack the enemy. 

These two items can be used repeatedly during battle. 

You can also get three Demons from the Demon Compedium in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengance.
