Now let's get straight to the main discussion, namely a summary of the various matches held on the third day of the MLBB MSC 2025 EWC Group Stage.
As explained above, on the third day, there were at least four teams who were hanging their last "lives" to compete in Moonton's annual event.
And the two of them who were unable to achieve victory had no choice but to go home and give up one of the most prestigious champion titles in the international MLBB pro-scene.
Meanwhile, the other four teams competing in the upper bracket finals will vie for a place in the playoffs. The losers will advance to the lower bracket finals. Here's a look at the details:
Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG): 2 vs. Mythic SEAL (MYTH): 1
In the #1 game, MYTH's victory only occurred because of SRG's blunder in the 20th minute: causing a wipe out, which gave them a comeback with a winning score of 14-10.
And in game #2, both teams maintained discipline. However, this time, MYTH's gold laner failed to split, resulting in a narrow 16-15 defeat.
In game #3, SRG's goldlaner nearly managed to pull off a split push but was thwarted. And with Lord, MYTH managed to secure the 'end' (18-5): 2-1 for MYTH.
Team Liquid PH (TLPH): 2 vs. ONIC: 1
The second match is a big one: Indonesian giants ONIC vs. champions TLPH M4 From the Philippines! In the #1 game, ONIC showed their mentality by winning a comeback (20-20).

However, their hopes of advancing to the playoffs were dashed when CFU managed to win game #3 with a score of (7-16): closing ULL's chances at MLBB MSC 2025. NT ULL.
Sports Club Corinthians Paulista (SCCP): 1 vs. Virtus.pro (VP): 2
The final match of the day featured two teams from opposite continents: SCCP from Latin America (NACT league) and VP representing the Russian plain league (MCC).
SCCP won Game #1 after free-lording VP's jungler was captured in the 16th minute (17-8). Meanwhile, VP claimed Game #2 (13-4) through a fairly passive match.
This ended with a brief victory for VP in game #3. In just 11 minutes, they managed to destroy the opponent's base with a narrow score of 7-11. SCCP officially left the game.
