MLBB MSC 2025 EWC Group Stage Day 5 Recap

The fifth day will feature the lower bracket finals. As in previous days, four matches will be contested, deciding the fate of the eight teams.
And as the group stage concludes, from this point on, there's no chance of losing. The winner advances to the playoffs, while the loser is sent home early.
Of course, this isn't easy, especially for the "lower-tier" teams—given that there are still several big teams looking to atone for their sins. So, to be clearer, here are the details:
1. Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG): 2 vs. CFU Gaming (CFU): 0

The first match featured Southeast Asian teams: SRG, representing Malaysia, and CFU from the Cambodian league. Both teams are tied in the MSC 2025 standings so far.
From the #1 game alone, it was clear that this match would be one-sided: a 20-5 victory for SRG in just under 14 minutes!
Meanwhile, in game #2, the same scenario was evident again. As if under an invisible pressure, CFU's performance wasn't optimal. As a result, SRG managed to sweep the match (21-5).
Virtus.pro (VP): 0 vs. ONIC Esports ID: 2

Whether intentional or not, the second match is always filled with representatives from the homeland. This time, it's time to see the sky kings of ONIC vs. VP from the Russian plains league.
Judging from the #1 match, ONIC seemed reluctant to go all-in in this match. Despite this, they still managed to secure a 15-3 victory.
Meanwhile, in the second match, VP simply went home. Although they had a lead, a blunder resulted in a wipeout in the 15th minute, resulting in a 15-7 defeat to ONIC.
HomeBois (HB): 0 vs. ONIC Esports PH (ONPH): 2

In the third match, another team from the "porcupine" management team, ONPH, faced the MPL Malaysia runner-up, HB. There certainly weren't many surprises in this match, considering the capabilities of each team.
ONPH easily dominated the #1 game—from the opening whistle until the HB base collapsed. Their victory ended in a close 7-9 victory.
Just like it was just a warm-up, in game #2 ONPH went even crazier! K1NGKONG's Fanny and Kelra's Granger weren't even picked off! A clean sweep (18-6) for ONPH.
Aurora Turkey (AUR): 2 vs. Team Flash (FLSG): 1

The fourth day of the event concluded with a match between AUR from the Turkish league and Singapore's FLSG. Many were eagerly anticipating AUR's performance as the "dark horse" team at MSC 2025.
And they proved they deserved the expectations of MLBB fans. This was evident in Game #1, when they managed a 9-3 comeback even after losing all their turrets!
In game #2, FLSG managed to put up a fight and learn from their mistakes, winning 20-14. However, AUR managed to close out the match, winning game #3 (14-6).
