Tips for Using Nilou

Nilou Build
Genshin Impact characters. Source: YouTube.

This character has a very specific playstyle that requires you to only have Hydro and Dendro characters in your party to make full use of their talents.

While you can incorporate it into other party types, it should only replace characters that haven't been drawn, and even so we wouldn't recommend it unless you're only playing it for its unique dance attack on the field, and not its damage potential with the right party.

The best way to build this character is as a kind of main DPS and sub DPS hybrid. This is because every player needs at least one Dendro teammate to apply Dendro to an enemy, then you will use it to apply Hydro to create a Bloom reaction and generate a Dendro Core.

With her Court of Dancing Petals passive talent, she will create Bountiful Cores instead of Dendro Cores, which have a bigger AOE, and take about one sixth of the time to explode making them better for DPS potential.
