Indonesia's Journey in FIFAe World Cup 2024 Football Manager

In this event, Indonesia was represented by Ichsan Rahmat Taufiq as manager and Budi Muhamad Manar Hidayat as assistant. Their combination successfully made their opponents helpless, until in the final match they managed to defeat the German representative with a striking aggregate score, namely 8-2.

 Germany itself was strengthened by Sven Goly as manager and T Wheneett as assistant. They lost to Indonesia with a score of 3-0 in the first leg and 5-2 in the second leg, so that in total they won 8-2.

During the group phase, Indonesia was included in Group C and was assigned to train Sporting Lisbon along with four other countries, namely Poland, England, France and India.

In the group phase, Ichsan and Busi managed to qualify for the semifinals after becoming group champions with a score of 364. These points were achieved after three seasons of handling Sporting Lisbon with a breakdown of 150 points from league results, 113 for tournaments, 65 for trophies, and 36 points from management assessments. 

For the final standings, after Indonesia was followed by Poland (343 points), France (331), England (295), and India (265).

In the semifinals, the Indonesian team successfully defeated the English representative. The first game ended in a 2-2 draw before winning 3-1 in the next match with an aggregate of 5-3.
