M7 World Championship 2026 Schedule

The M7 tournament will last for three full weeks, starting from January 3 to January 25, 2026. Each stage has a different competition system and is guaranteed to get more exciting with each phase.
Here is the schedule breakdown:
- January 3–6, 2026: Wild Card Stage
- January 8–14, 2026: Swiss Stage
- January 17–25, 2026: Knockout Stage & Grand Final
Just like previous seasons, all teams will fight hard from the start to secure the best position and go as far as possible towards the final round.
Held in Jakarta

Indonesia was again trusted to be the host after great success in various events. esports international. For the M7 World Championship, matches will be held at two main locations:
- XO Hall (MPL Arena) — the venue where the event will take place Wild card, Swiss Stage, and the early stages Knockout Stage.
- The second venue (to be announced later) will be used for the final rounds, including the semi-finals and Grand Final, to make the spectator experience and match atmosphere even more magnificent.

Match Format and Phases

The tournament will be divided into three main phases that become increasingly competitive from one stage to the next:
Wild Card Stage
In this opening stage, teams from new regions or countries that do not yet have a slot will compete strategically to win the final seat to the Swiss Stage.
Swiss Stage
This phase brings together all participating M7 teams, including the champions and runners-up from regional leagues (MPL ID, MPL PH, MPL MY, and others). The Swiss system allows each team to compete multiple times before being eliminated.
Knockout Stage
This stage is the most exciting phase! Only the best teams from the Swiss Stage will advance. The format is as follows: best of 5 until the Grand Final round which usually uses the format best of 7 — this is where strategy, mentality, and teamwork are truly tested.
