About Tokyo Manji

The Tokyo Manji Gang, or Toman, is a motorcycle gang based in the Shibuya area of Tokyo and the central organization that controls the entire Tokyo Revengers storyline. The gang was founded on June 19, 2003, by six junior high school students who initially began as a group of friends who enjoyed riding together.
The idea of forming this gang was first put forward by Baji Keisuke when he was gathering together Mikey, Draken, Kazutora, Pah-Chin, and Mitsuya at Musashi Shrine. The main reason is very simple: to be able to fight Black Dragon who at that time was threatening the safety of Kazutora and his friends.
From these humble roots, Toman has grown into the most respected motorcycle gang in all of Tokyo. The value held dear by every member is never to act in a despicable or cowardly manner, as honor is uncompromising in Toman's internal culture.
Tokyo Manji Lineup

Toman has a clearly structured hierarchy starting from the top leadership to the division members, each of whom has different roles and responsibilities.
Chairman and Vice Chairman
The first and most iconic leader of Tokyo Manji was Sano Manjiro, better known as Mikey, who was the most charismatic leader. The position of leader was given to Mikey from the gang's inception because none of the founding members doubted his abilities.
Under Mikey stands Ryuguji Ken, also known as Draken, as Vice Chairman, often referred to as the heart of Toman due to his wise nature. Draken is the only one who dares to speak honestly with Mikey, even when the rest of the members choose to remain silent.
Division 1 Captain and Vice Captain
Toman Division 1 was initially led by Baji Keisuke, one of the gang's founders and the most stubborn yet loyal of all the core members. Baji's departure followed, and he was later succeeded by Chifuyu Matsuno and Takemichi Hanagak.
Chifuyu served as Vice Captain of Division 1 under Baji before later inheriting the division's leadership alongside Takemichi. Takemichi and Chifuyu's leadership partnership in Division 1 symbolizes the profound changes brought about by Toman's new generation.
Division 2 Captain and Vice Captain
Tokyo Manji Division 2 is led by Mitsuya Takashi, known as the most mature and stable of all the division captains. Mitsuya is always reliable in difficult situations and rarely loses his cool.
The position of Vice Captain of Division 2 is held by Hakkai Shiba, who is the younger brother of Taiju Shiba, the eleventh generation leader of Black Dragon, who was one of the antagonists in the Christmas Showdown arc.
Division 3 Captain and Vice Captain
Toman's 3rd Division is led by Haruki Hayashida, better known as Pah-Chin by all gang members since its inception. Pah-Chin is one of the six founding members of Toman, having been with Mikey since the gang's inception.
The Vice Captain of Division 3 is Peh-Yan or Hiroshi Hayashida who is the twin brother of Pah-Chin and faithfully accompanied his brother while he was still an active member.
Captain of Division 4 and Vice Captain
Toman's 4th Division is led by the infamous twins Nahoya Kawata, also known as Smiley, who always smiles even in the most brutal battles. Nahoya earned the nickname Smiley because of his constant smile, making him one of Toman's most fearsome members.
The Vice Captain of Division 4 is Souya Kawata, also known as Angry, Nahoya's younger twin brother, with completely opposite personalities and a reputation for being the most dangerous pair of characters in Toman.
Captain of Division 5 and Vice Captain
Toman's 5th Division was initially led by Yasuhiro Muto, also known as Muto-kun, before the position was eventually transferred to Haruchiyo Sanzu. Sanzu is known for his fanatical loyalty to Mikey, which transcends even the limits of logic.
Sanzu's arrival as Captain of Division 5 brought a radically different energy due to his unconventional and unpredictable leadership style. Despite his volatile personality, Sanzu harbors a deep affection for Mikey.
Tokyo Manji Second Generation

After Tokyo Manji The first generation was officially disbanded by Mikey, Takemichi Hanagaki appeared and founded the second generation of Tokyo Manji. The structure of the second generation mirrored the first generation but with a very different member composition.
Takemichi became the chairman with Chifuyu as his deputy, while the division captain position is filled by a combination of old members and new characters who join at the end of the story.
The second generation of Toman symbolizes Takemichi's never-give-up determination to create a better future for everyone he loves.
