Nayuta Chainsaw Man

Nayuta is a new supporting character in Chainsaw Man, she is the Incarnation of the Control Devil formerly known as Makima, one of the most manipulative and strongest enemies in Chainsaw Man.
He is one of the most feared group of Demons in Chainsaw Man: Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Specifically, he's a Control Devil. This identity places him in the Horsemen group alongside Yoru (War Devil) and Fami (Famine Devil).
In the Chainsaw Man story, he is Denji's younger brother and lives with Denji and his dogs.
In Academy Saga (Part 2), Denji sends Nayuta to school. Meanwhile, her primary affiliation is with Denji as part of her family.
He was born in 1997 and is estimated to be around 10 years old. He was reincarnated after Makima's death in the ending of Public Safety Saga (Part 1).
In Academy Saga (Part 2), Nayuta appears as a small child with a height of around 110 cm.
Due to her devil nature, Nayuta cannot age like humans. However, she can reincarnate as a child.
Physically, Nayuta has a cute, child-like appearance, depicted as having long, braided hair.
She has the same eyes as Makima, red-yellow in color with a swirl-like pattern.
The eyes are the visual sign of the Control Devil and he carries the soul of a Devil despite looking like a child.
As a Control Devil, she considers Chainsaw Man her hero. Makima wants to control Chainsaw Man (Pochita), while Nayuta only wants Denji.
Because Denji cared for and loved her sincerely, Nayuta saw Denji as her real family, not a target.
Therefore, Denji is controlled by Nayuta with her power to forbid him from dating or being approached by anyone.
Her character is formed based on a mixture of devil and human traits, Nayuta has a possessive, innocent, naughty, obsessive and jealous nature especially towards Denji.
Nayuta uses her powers to keep Denji safe and keep him as hers.
He loves dogs like Makima and he has a human soul, but doesn't understand the good and bad things yet,
In her house too, Nayuta often gives some rules that Denji must obey and Denji must submit to her to avoid conflict.
Although Denji provides Nayuta with decent facilities like school, food, and a family, she remains a Devil who desires to be a normal child with her Control Devil soul.
Control Devil is a devil figure who was formerly Makima, the holder of the power to control humans and demons through her techniques.
When Makima lost, her Control Devil powers did not disappear and appeared in the form of Nayuta.
Nayuta has similar traits to Makima, she uses control chains, controls humans and has a close relationship with Denji.
However, unlike Makima, he is a young, unstable child. He doesn't yet understand his powers and their consequences.
Nayuta's Key Moments in Chainsaw Man

In the Chainsaw Man universe, demons are the physical manifestations of human fear. If a demon dies on Earth, they are reincarnated in Hell. If they die in Hell, they are reincarnated on Earth, like Pochita.
Makima, who was the previous Control Devil, intended to be controlled or eaten by Chainsaw Man.
Denji managed to defeat Akina by 'connecting' with her, thus breaking Makima's contract with Kentaro Ishita and triggering the reincarnation of Control Devil into Nayuta.
Kishibe is a Public Safety Devil Hunter who discovered a new Control Devil in China.
He knows the dangers of a Control Devil if it isn't given affection. A Control Devil must be connected to another person to form.
Therefore, Kishibe handed over Nayuta to Denji to be cared for as a foster sister.
Pochita had warned Denji that if he didn't want Nayuta to be like Makima, he would have to love her with all his affection.
Kishibe hopes that Denji can give Nayuta affection to prevent her from becoming a power-obsessed Control Devil monster.
Nayuta's appearance in the Chainsaw Man manga is divided into two main sagas, namely Chainsaw Man: Public Safety Saga (Part 1) which focuses on Makima, and Academy Saga (Part 2).

Aging Devil Arc and Current Arc
Losing Nayuta made Denji experience trauma all over again, because previously he lost Power and Makima who he considered as his own family.
Overall, Nayuta is a Control Devil and that makes her one of the strongest Devils.
What makes him different from Makima is that he was raised by Denji with full love and affection.
He also still shows his demonic control that can affect humans, but he is not as bad as Makima who wants to rule Global, but he uses his control to protect Denji.
Even though Denji managed to improve his life, Nayuta is still a Control Devil.
If not raised well, especially with love, then her nature will be the same as Makima's, who is hungry for power.
Nayuta's Power

Nayuta's main power is being able to control anyone who is considered lower than her.
The following are some of Nayuta's powers in Chainsaw Man, including the following:
- Chain Manipulation: Nayuta can create magical chains that penetrate targets, allowing her to control their minds and enslave them. She can also send chains from her fingertips into a target's brain to follow her wishes. However, this is still controlled and very limited, unlike Makima.
- Finger Signs: Nayuta and Makima frequently use hand gestures as part of their contract rituals with other devils. These gestures are used to activate their control powers, such as long-range shots.
- Mind F*cking: He can drastically alter the perception and personality of his targets, such as mentally transforming humans into dogs (doggo-fication). He does this because he's jealous of seeing Denji with Asa Mitaka.

- The target is immune to control: Characters like Barem (Weapon Hybrid) are uncontrollable, meaning their powers don't work on certain individuals.
- Denji's Addiction: She's so close to Denji that she's determined to protect him. However, this can also lead her to act irrationally or even endanger herself and others.
- Unstable: Despite her immense power, Nayuta is still just a child. She doesn't yet understand the true meaning of power and the consequences of her actions.
- Physically Weak: Even though he is a devil, his body looks like a human so he could possibly be injured or seriously hurt.
