There are three forms of transformation of Ultra Instinct, namely Ultra Instinct Sign, Perfected Ultra Instinct, and True Ultra Instinct.

Ultra Instinct Sign

In The Universe Survival arc, the story in the series Dragon Ball Superr has been updated to be more modern with many things also being redone.

Goku now has a new goal in life, namely mastering the Ultra Instinct transformation technique.

Ultra Instinct Sign itself is a super strong transformation which is one of the important stages before Goku enters a stronger form.

He first triggered Ultra Instinct during the Tournament of Power. Based on the anime, Ultra Instinct is formed from his own Genki Dama energy.

As seen in the Moro arc, Ultra Instinct Sign can be triggered when Goku is in a calm state of mind.

Perfected Ultra Instinct

In the anime, Goku will be covered in a bright white glow with silver hair styled like his Super Saiyan form.

The transformed form of Perfected Ultra Instinct has a basic form that is identical to Ultra Instinct Sign, namely they both have silver hair.

During the fight against Jiren in the Tournament of Power, Goku couldn't match Jiren so he had to perfect his Ultra Instinct form.

Constantly pushed to the point of almost being eliminated while in his Ultra Instinct Sign form, Goku tries to continuously survive the blows given by Jiren.

It is during this wave of attacks that Goku achieves the Perfected Ultra Instinct transformation. Some time later, Goku is again able to trigger this transformation after the removal of Merus.

He managed to control his emotions at a heartbreaking moment and from then on, Goku was able to use this transformation whenever he needed it.

True Ultra Instinct

To be able to use Perfected Ultra Instinct, one's feelings must be in a very calm state.

Goku also experienced this. However, that's when he managed to use an advanced transformation, namely True Ultra Instinct.

Goku achieves this transformation by combining his feelings as a Saiyan with the Ultra Instinct Sign technique.

The True Ultra Instinct transformation first appeared in the Granolah the Survivor arc. In this arc, Goku and Vegeta have difficulty protecting themselves from Gas.

With the new power he gained, Goku managed to defeat Gas even though he managed to survive Granola's ultimate attack.

According to Whis, the guide of God Beerus, stated that a Perfected Ultra Instinct user has a limited time to be in this transformation.
