To activate this tower, you can go northeast of the Gerudo Desert with coordinates (-2432, -2178, 0307) at the southern tip of the Hyrule map.

If you approach this area on foot, you will find an elevator that has not yet been built.

Go up to the platform on the right which is on the ground with two metal crates on it. Use Ultrahand to lift the metal crate.

By doing this, you will remove the counterweight and you will begin to move upward.

No need to worry, because the load is easy to move. A character named Sawson will tell you that they are in the process of repairing the tower.

However, they were unable to continue because the counterweight for the available lift was missing. All that remains is the roof support frame that you will use to build it.

To go to where the Gerudo Canyon tower is, go around the cliff face. Don't forget to be alert because you will meet 3 elemental Lizalfos here.

There are two species of Lizalfos that might attack you later. They are red Lizalfos and blue Lizalfos.

If you encounter red Lizalfos, defeat them by using a white Chuchu Jelly from Ice Chuchu.

If the Lizalfos you encounter is blue, then just throwing a Fire Fruit at it will be enough.

Another alternative that you can use is to fight with them normally or avoid them by sneaking on the left side of the cliff.

Once you arrive at the top, go closer to the elevator. You will see building materials at the opposite end.

Here, you need one of the existing pillars to attach to the ceiling support. Next, use one of the plain planks to make the base floor.

The final step, you just need to take the metal crates that are next to the construction poles and start stacking them on top of each other to add weight so that the lift can be lifted.

Even though the elevator moves slowly, it will take Sawson to where you are.

Another alternative that you can do is make the elevator longer and wider by adding several more pillars by using large metal crates behind the construction pillars.

This metal coffin is quite heavy so it would pose a risk to Sawson. If that happens, they will tell you to stop so you can try again.

After you successfully lift Sawson, talk to him again. A scene trailer will play and you have access to activate this tower.
