Explanation of the Latest CSGO 2 Ranking System

CSGO Rank 2 Per Map

One of the biggest innovations in the ranking system Counter-Strike 2 is rank in standard Competitive mode is now assigned per map. 

For each map, you will start the game without any ranking. Then you have to win 10 matches on each map, before getting a new rank. 

With a total of 8 maps in the game, you have to play a lot before finally getting a rank.

Counter Strike 2's new ranking system still uses the same ranks as those in CSGO, where there are a total of 18 ranks that must be achieved.

CSGO 2 Premier rankings

Counter Strike 2's ranking system has undergone a complete overhaul for Premier mode. 

Now, the Counter Strike 2 Premier rank gives you a number between 1 and 30,000 and above, which is known as CS Rating. 

Only the best CS players can reach rank 30,000, and so far only a few players around the world have managed to achieve it. 

CS2 Premier rankings are also determined by color, so you can see at a glance who the best players on the server are. These colors include:

• 4,999 and below – Grey
• 5,000 to 9,000 – Light Blue
• 10,000 to 14,999 – Blue
• 15,000 to 19,999 – Purple
• 20,000 to 24,999 – Fuchsia
• 25,000 to 29,999 – Ed
• 30,000 and above – Gold

What makes Premier rank very important is that your rank will be on the global leaderboard. Where you can see your own rank among every other player in the world.

CSGO Ranking 2 FACEIT

If the Premier rank is not suitable for you, then the FACEIT ranking system can be an alternative.

FACEIT is a third-party client that lets you play with some of the most skilled Counter Strike players around the world. 

FACEIT has an annoying anti-cheat feature, which CS2 Premier does not have.

Apart from that, it is common knowledge that FACEIT is the place where all professional players play most of their matchmaking games.

FACEIT Rankings are set on a 10 level system, with each player starting at Level 3. 

You will gain ELO for wins, and lose ELO for losses.

The following are the 10 FACEIT ranks, and the ELO required to reach each rank:

• 100 to 500 – Level 1
• 501 to 750 – Level 2
• 751 to 900 – Level 3
• 901 to 1,050 – Level 4
• 1,051 to 1,200 – Level 5
• 1,201 to 1,350 – Level 6
• 1,351 to 1,530 – Level 7
• 1,531 to 1,750 – Level 8
• 1,751 to 2,000 – Level 9
• 2,000+ – Level 10
