Function of the Demiguise Moon Statue in Hogwarts Legacy

The Demiguise Moon statue has an appearance similar to an owl holding an orb that is shaped like a moon.

The moon-shaped orbs held by this owl statue will glow bluish at night.

You can use the Demiguise Moon statue to increase the level of the Alohomora spell with the help of Gladwin Moon.

You will learn Alohomora from Gladwin Moon's quest, where he will tell you to look for this statue and find the rest to increase the power of your spells.

Apart from that, this statue can also increase abilities Lock-Picking and complete the game progress.

Demiguise Moon location at Hogwarts

Before you start looking for these statues, remember that you can only collect them at night.

Apart from that, you also have to complete the quest "Caretaker's Lunar Lament" which will unlock the Alohomora spell and "The Man Behind The Moons" to increase the level of the spell.

There are a total of 10 Demiguise Moon statues scattered throughout Hogwarts castle. Here are the locations:

The Great Hall

The location of the first statue is in The Great Hall. Head towards the Great Hall Floo Flame and head towards a level 1 door.

Unlock the door using the Alohomara spell and you will find the statue on a table.

Astronomy Wing

The second statue is in the Astronomy Wing room. You need to go to the Transfiguration Coutyard Floo Flame and to the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower.

Go up the small stairs and look for two talking gargoyles on either side of a door on level 2.

To open this door, you need the 2nd level Alohomora spell. A Demiguise statue will be in the room.

Professor Fig's Office

The third location of the Demiguise statue is inside Professor Fig's Office. Teleport to the Floo Flame Classroom in the Astronomy Wing.

Go up the stairs and you will find a statue behind Professor Fig's office.

Muggles Studies Classroom

A fourth statue is also in the Astronomy Wing. Go towards the Transfiguration Courtyard Floo Flame, then go in the opposite direction and enter a door on the left.

Go down using the stairs on the right, turn right, and you will find a door on level 1.

Open the door and you will find the fourth Demiguise statue on the right side of the room.

Restriction Sections

The next location for the statue is in the Restricted Section at Hogwarts. Go to the Library Floo Flame in the Library Annex, enter the area with the fence.

Go down to the bottom floor, walk into the last room and you will find a statue on the table on the left.

Divination Classroom

After leaving the Restricted Section, go to the Divination Classroom Floo Flame which is also in the Library Annex.

Use the stairs and look for stairs that lead down. You will find the sixth Demiguise Moon statue on Professor Onai's desk.

Storage Closet Demiguise

The seventh statue is in the Potions Classroom. The Potions Classroom is still in the same place as the other two statues, namely in the Library Annex.

Use the spiral staircase on the left. You will be taken to a door with level 1, use Alohomora to open it.

After opening the first door, you will find the second door with level 2. Open the room again using the Alohomora spell and take the statue inside.

Locked Bathroom

The next location for the Demiguise statue is in the Locked Bathroom which is located in the South Wing of Hogwarts.

Go towards the Faculty Tower Floo Flame, continue straight to the bottom floor which is under the stairs. Continue down the stairs to the right of the corridor.

Turn left and keep walking until you find a door that is locked at level 1. Open the door and you will find a Demiguise statue in the middle of the shelf.

Demiguise Moon location in Hogsmeade

Not only in Hogwarts castle, the Demiguise Moon statue can also be found in Hogsmeade. Here are the locations:

Three Broomstick Inn

Go up to the top floor of the Three Broomsticks Inn and open the locked door. Go to the left and use the stairs, you will find a Demiguise Moon statue there.

East of Three Broomstick Inn

Apart from inside the inn, you can get the next statue on the 2nd floor of a house located right next to the Three Broomstick Inn.

Northbound Tomes and Scrolls

Go South of Hogsmeade, towards the building to the north left of Tomes and Scrolls. Look for a mattress in the back room and a third statue on a decorative table.

Hog's Head

The fourth statue is at the Hog's Head. Go to the door next to the counter and you will find the statue there.
