Meta

As a foundation, Karrie's meta counter will be the opening of this article, making it easier for all Vicigers to understand the context of the MM's counter discussion.

Same as Mia Like other damage-per-second (DPS) heroes, Karrie relies heavily on attack speed. However, what makes her unique is her mechanics.

Regardless, if her items aren't ready, Karrie won't be able to make a significant impact. Therefore, the best meta to counter her is:

• Her passive is effective against heroes with high HP (tanks and fighters). With low HP heroes like core assassins or roaming supports, there's no reason for the enemy to pick Karrie.
• As a projectile hero, Karrie's skill range and basic attacks are also quite limited. Therefore, gold laners should choose MM heroes with long-range locking capabilities that can create Karrie difficulty reaching without having to pay off his cell phone.
• Karrie only has a short blink skill with a relatively long cooldown (CD). Use a highly mobile hero who can deal burst damage early in the game, and don't let her farm easily in the gold lane.
• Karrie lacks debuff/anti-crowd control (CC) mechanics. Pick a hero with CC (even a low one), and this can seriously hinder her.

Items

As for items, the options are mostly "generic" counters for MM physical DPS—nothing special. So, some of the themes can be summarized as follows:

• Attack speed reduction: As a MM DPS hero, Karrie can be quite disrupted if her basic attack speed is reduced. Therefore, items like Dominance Ice can be a good counter;
• Physical Attack Counter and Blocker: Like most other physical DPS heroes, Karrie can be blocked by increasing her armor. A good choice for this is Blade Armor, which can also counter the MM's damage.
• Sustain items: As a hero who is “reluctant” to meta, he can easily be outplayed with sustain items such as Wind of Nature (WoN), Winter Truncheon, and Immortality.

Spells

There are several spell options that you can use to counter the MM in MLBBThis is due to its outdated mechanics, which are in need of a revamp. Here's the list:

• Vengeance: This anti-hero DPS spell is suitable for roamers who have already picked a thick hero;
• Petrify: Stun the MM so that he can't move – suitable for EXP laners who like to dive in;
• Aegis: As for MM, you can win contests/by one by having an additional shield;

Heroes

And finally, there are counter heroes to counter Karrie. Based on everything mentioned above, the following heroes are worth using against Karrie:

• Belerick: The most suitable tank counter to crush Karrie, both because of his passive and his CC capacity – especially when combined with Vengeance, Cursed Helmet, and Blade Armor!;
• Lolita: With her shield skill, Lolita is the natural enemy of all projectile heroes!
• Brody/Lesley/Layla/Ixia: These four MMs are among the many heroes with the longest attack range/widest high ground in the game – perfect for countering Karrie with her minimal ranged attack range.
• Haya/Lancelot/Fanny/Ling/Hanzo: This assassin hero line-up is very difficult for Karrie to counter because of their high mobility;
