Chess Rush Has Been Closed for One Year by Tencent, It Turns Out That's the Reason!

Chess Rush

Chess Rush is one of the games created by Tencent (developer PUBG games). In 2022, this game finally became inaccessible because the server was closed.

Chess Rush, an Auto Battler game from publisher Tencent, has closed the game server with an announcement last year.

Since closing this game has taken a lot of players by surprise. This can be seen from the fact that many players regret this announcement because it seems sudden.

Players will no longer be able to download, register, and top up since January 5, 2022. Players who want to play this game in 2023 obviously no longer can.

So, what are the causes and reasons for Tencent to do this? To get the answer, please refer to the review below.

It's been one year since Tencent closed the Chess Rush game server and it can no longer be played. They are closing this on April 7th 2022.

The studio immediately thanked the Indonesian players who had tried the game. This announcement came as a sudden disappointment to mobile gamers.

Because as we know, this game is very popular, especially for the Indonesian region. Surprisingly, Tencent and Level Infinite did not explain in detail why they shut down this server. In fact, this game is still good when the server is closed.

It is said that players will not be allowed to download this app until now. Also, from then on, they will stop any kind of charging business and all ongoing activities.

Actually, you can still enjoy games like Auto Chess, Dota Underlords, and LoL: Teamfight Tactics can be the best choice right now.

The game, which has been running since July 4 2019, is indeed at the peak of its popularity for the Auto Battler mode that they are promoting in Indonesia. Chess Rush was the most popular game at that time beating the same genre as Auto Chess.

Unfortunately this popularity is slowly declining and the game world is being taken over by MOBA and Battle Royale. The gaming community is also shut down and it's getting worse with the dev team's late to provide new updates.

The reason is that Chess Rush announced its closure and retirement in April 2022 due to the lack of fans and a lack of gameplay in each update.

Nonetheless, Chess Rush thanks the players for their love and support, and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.

About Chess Rush Games

Like other car fighting games released before, Chess Rush also has the same feel where players will compete on strategy on an 8×8 chessboard.

The aim of the game is based on each player's ability to defend against enemy attacks (either monsters or other players) until the game leaves only one player or worker.

Facing enemy attacks, you have to make different combinations based on race and class. Making this combination also has its own challenges, including betting on rare hero stat opportunities that can be obtained.

Each hero can be empowered in various ways, by leveling up, providing synergy effects, giving things away. Hero level can be increased by collecting 3 of the same heroes. Maximum hero level is 3.

The importance of this game depends on the control of the hero used, it's understandable that each player can only use 10 heroes. With these limitations, you are challenged to create the best relationships in these ten spaces.

Unlike other car battle titles, Chess Rush has a feature where players can place 2 heroes at the start of the game so players can quickly start their strategy.
