VCL ID 2024, Alter Ego becomes Champion after defeating BOOM Esports

The final round of VCL ID Split 1 2024 has officially ended, where Alter Ego managed to emerge as champion after defeating BOOM Esports in the final round.

The VCL ID final match which took place on Sunday, March 31 2024, made BOOM Esports helpless by Alter Ego after suffering a crushing defeat with a score of 3-0.

Highlights of the Final Round of Alter Ego vs BOOM Esports

In matches using the Best of 5 system, Alter Ego immediately stepped on the gas by dominating the match on the Split map. 

This made BOOM Esports helpless, and only managed to end the match with just 2 winning points.

Continue to the Ascent map, which is the map chosen by BOOM Esports. In this map, BOOM Esports provided a little more resistance in the first half round.

However, the attacker game from the Alter Ego team is still superior in comparison BOOM Esports, so that the second game was still won by Alter Ego with a score of 13-9.

And in the third map, Sunset is a witness to the victory achieved by Alter Ego.

With this result, Alter Ego won with a score of 3-0 over BOOM Esports.

Winner of VCL ID 2024

With the results in VCL ID Split 1, Alter Ego is entitled to a prize of 6,500 USD or around IDR 103 million. 

And for the MVP, Alter Ego player Ray4c emerged as the winner in this event and received a prize of 500 USD. 

Apart from that, Alter Ego and BOOM Esports will represent Indonesia by getting a slot in the Split 2 final qualifier.

Later, the Split 2 final qualifier will be the determining factor for qualifying for the Ascension level.

And to the host organizer, Riot Games has appointed the host, namely Japan, to hold the VCT Ascension Pacific 2024.
