Tier List Relation to Castorice Release and Global Passive

Character strength, relic and ornament releases, and new support or sustain character releases greatly affect the function and order of characters.
One significant example is Jing Yuan who went up a tier because her DMG got bigger and more optimal due to Sunday's release. Sunday's release as a support is considered to have a positive impact on several characters besides Jing Yuan.
However, the release of Castorice and Anaxa in patch 3.2 according to the author has a very significant impact. This is because a new system was introduced to players called Global Passive for the Castorice character.
Passive abilities are nothing new in Honkai Star Rail. Referred to as Talents In Trace (character abilities), usually Passive will only be active during battle and under certain conditions, especially if the character is in the active party.
Different from the others, Castorice's passive effect allows all characters in the player's account to survive attacks even if the character is inactive or Castorice is in the party.
If your character receives healing or a shield within a certain period of time after nearly dying, they will come back to life with 1 HP.
This Global Passive makes Castorice superior, not to mention the DMG output produced by Castorice is very large which makes him a superior DPS.
Players are certainly pro and con regarding this. Some feel that this Global Passive is good to be added to the game. There are also players who feel that this ability is damaging or too "power creeping" and ruins the tier list because other characters become less effective.
Tier List Honkai Star Rail Patch 3.2

With the addition of new support, some old characters are getting buffs because they are considered better. However, this tier list is made based on subjective assessments that are not 100% valid in determining the character's abilities.
Characters are judged based on function and flexibility at E0 so it is possible that Tiers will be divided into several classes:
- SS = Very good, doesn't need pro support or builds (eidolon, light cone, relic, etc) to be good
- S = Strong character for specific role determined by individual path. However, still need good build (eidolon, light cone, relic, etc) to be right
- A = Good character but requires more detailed build and support than previous classes
- B = Good character that can work well if used correctly and can be effective in situations but has usage/party limitations.
- C = Characters that have limited use and abilities are already locked
