Everything You Need to Know About Jason in GTA 6!

As we know, since the announcement of the GTA 6 trailer Rockstar Games has revealed several characters who will appear, one of which is Jason.

Jason GTA 6

Well, there is something different about this GTA series, where it presents new characters who have not appeared in the previous GTA series.

One of them is Jason, he is the male protagonist who will be present with Lucia in GTA 6.

In the trailer, it is implied that he is Lucia's lover. Where you can see Lucia's arm embracing Jason.

There is a scene in the trailer that confirms that he is Lucia's lover, where at the end of the trailer Lucia tells him "The only way we are going to get through this is by sticking together."

It turns out that the characters Jason and Lucia were inspired by the famous criminal couple who committed a robbery together on May 23, 1934 in the United States.

The Origin of Jason

According to gta6intel, in September 2022, a leaker named teapotuberhacker published 90 clips of GTA 6 which is still in the development stage which he took from the Rockstar Games Slack Channel.

The leaker released game clips that were 50 minutes long, including one of them, GTA 6.

He also revealed the main characters of GTA 6, namely Lucia and Jason, before the official release of the trailer in December 2023.

Lucia herself was officially confirmed in the first trailer, while Jason's face has been revealed but he still doesn't have a name.

Voice of Jason

There are lots of rumors about suitable candidates to voice Jason in GTA 6.

From rumors circulating, there are three actors who are candidates as Jason's voice actor in GTA 6, namely Bryan Zampela, Troy Baker and Gregory Connors.

Bryan Zampella

For a long time, many people thought that Jason's voice actor in GTA 6 was Bryan Zampella.

This is also confirmed by all his posts on social media regarding GTA Vice City. However, these rumors have remained dormant until now and there has been no confirmation from Bryan Zampella.

Troy Baker

There are also many rumors that Troy Baker is one of the actors who will voice Jason in GTA 6.

However, he denied this rumor in a video interview with The Movie Dweeb which was uploaded on April 5, 2024.

There he emphasized that "I want that guy, whoever it is, to get credit for his work because I'm sure it's going to be great... From this interview, Troy Baker confirmed that he is not the voice of Jason in GTA 6.

Gregory Connors

According to gamerant, it was stated that Gregory Connors was one of the actor candidates rumored to be voicing Jason.

Even though Rockstar has not confirmed anything regarding Gregory Connors' involvement, it is possible that Rockstar will choose him because of his track record of experience in playing characters in several films.

Gregory Connors is able to play several characters and has a variety of voices that he can bring.

Although this has not been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games, in the first GTA 6 trailer, it turns out that Jason's voice can be heard briefly.
