Initial Introduction

Before heading towards Gameplay, we need to get to know this one game first.

Apex Legends Mobile is an action genre battle royale first-person shooter developed by Electronic Arts. It seems familiar because actually Apex Legends Mobile is the result of an adaptation of the game Apex Legends on PC.

It seems that it has become commonplace if a PC game that is already very hype is then adapted into an Android/iOs game. Their goal is to reach other players with different devices.

Call it the current game like PUBG Mobile, HyperFront, Ragnarok: Eternal Love, and other games that previously came from PC. After knowing and wanting to attract many players, a mobile version was made.

For those who want to know the minimum specifications for Mobile (HP) for Apex Legends Mobile, the author quotes directly from the official site Electronic Arts (EA):

For Android:

  • System on Chip: Snapdragon 435/ Hisilicon Kirin 650/ Mediatek Helio P20/ Exynos 7420
  • Android 6.0
  • Open GL 3.1 or higher
  • 4 GB of free storage
  • Minimum 2GB of RAM

For iOS:

  • iPhone 6S or later
  • OS version: 11.0 or later
  • CPUs: A9
  • 4 GB of free storage
  • Minimum 2GB of RAM

If you look at the specifications above, it feels like you need a rather expensive smartphone. Even though many smartphones under 2 million have the specifications above, it would be nice to have better specifications for good results.

Appearance

From the initial appearance of the lobby, it looks very good. You could say the graphics exceed PUBG Mobile, CODM, or Free Fire. As we know, Apex is indeed a game that excels in the field of graphics, so it's not that surprising.

Based on the plus sign on the left and right side Legends (the name for the characters in Apex Legends), you can play them as a team with a maximum of three people per team.

In the settings section, there are lots of things that can be set by players. Some are easy "lite" in nature, some are "advanced" like games FPS other.

The number of legends in Apex Legends Mobile is 14 and still growing. When compared to Apex Legends, it's a bit different because currently the PC game already has 19 Legends.

Each Legends has its own skills which can be grouped into four. There are Legends that can detect enemies, Legends that specialize in healing, Legends that have protection skills, and Legends that are shooters.

Gameplay Review Apex Legends Mobile

The less pleasant experience experienced by the writer is matchmaking. I don't know what happened, the lack of players or what, the writer had to wait for 11 minutes of matchmaking!

When starting the game, our writer is presented with Apex Legends-style gameplay on PC and battle royal gameplay as usual, jumping from the plane to where the player wants. So far no significant problems.

Precisely the problem came when landing. The really crazy thing is the tons of buttons you can use! If there is a competition for the most number of buttons in one game, it looks like Apex Legends Mobile is the winner.

But the developers seem to understand the difficulties players will face later, so they make lite version settings and other settings to make it easier for players. For example taking items and opening doors automatically or auto-shooting when chasing enemies.

If you have Smartphones qualified, Apex Legends provides quite a lot of graphic levels. There's improving the graphics, changing the lighting, and much more.

All of that seems to have been thought of by Electronic Arts to provide the best experience for its players. So you can feel a different sensation of playing.

Just like other FPS games, players can have skins for legends or for weapons that you can later use during the game.

Map Options and Recommended Party

If PUBG has four maps that can be played, Apex Legends Mobile has 12 Maps. For battle royale, there are seven maps that you can use, while the remaining five maps are either new maps or just different modes.

With so many maps, Apex Legends Mobile players won't get bored quickly. Precisely when feeling tired with these maps, players can move, looking for a new atmosphere and team.

No less interesting is the recommended party feature. In live, you can recruit other players or previous players with several considerations.

When viewed from above, there are several things that you can see. You can see the ranking, the Legends used, the type of camera, and most importantly whether they are willing to be On Mic or not. Communication is important!

Strict Security System

The existence of Electronic Arts, which has been in the gaming industry for a long time, makes them understand what conditions will occur in the future. But there seems to be some irregularities.

To play this game, the author uses Bluestacks. Just had time to experience the game 2-3 times, suddenly got a message from Apex Legends Mobile that the author's account was suspended and banned for reasons that are not clear.

Based on the information the author has received, Electronic Arts uses Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC), a third-party anti-cheat program for Apex Legends and Apex Legends Mobile. These programs can ban or suspend players for no apparent reason.

All players who have this problem can only wait until the time is shown on the screen. But, if it's still ongoing, you can contact Electronic Arts and tell the problem you're having.

For problems using Bluestack or Nox, until now the author has not found a bright spot other than asking directly to support channel.

Conclusion of the Apex Legends Mobile Review

From the conclusions above, Apex Legends is a very good FPS Battle Royale game if you play using a capable smartphone. In terms of graphics, for the size of a mobile game, this is very good.

There's no need to be afraid of not being able to master the whole game, let alone the buttons. Parties from Apex Legends Mobile have provided various solutions that you can find in the settings section.

What players need to know is what weapons match their playing style. The rest of Apex Legends Mobile will make a series of recommendations or new buttons that appear under certain conditions.

Then regarding Easy Anti-Cheat, the author still cannot know whether using Bluestack or Nox can be an indication that Easy Anti-Cheat has banned or suspended an account.
