Days Gone is the first open world concept game project from Bend Studio and the first game released for a home game console.

The development of this game took around 6 years, taking inspiration from World War Z and The Walking Dead.

The setting of Days Gone takes place two years after a pandemic that succeeded in killing almost all humans and turning them into "Freakers" vicious zombie-like creatures.

Days Gone was originally planned for release in 2018 but ended up being delayed several times.

This action-adventure game set after the apocalypse has succeeded in becoming Bend Studio's best seller.

Even though Days Gone is a very successful game, apparently until now no sequel or spin-off has been released by the developer.

A petition to urge Sony Playstation to develop Days Gone 2, it was made on April 10 2021 and is still open today.

Until this article was released, the petition with the title "Get Sony Playstation to Approve Days Gone 2" had been signed by more than 200 thousand people.

According to the article from Comic Books, the latest PlayStation leak will probably contain the date of the newest game from the Days Gone development studio.

Rumors that Bend Studio was working on a new game began to spread and of course Days Gone 2 became a candidate for the most talked about game title.

Not only that, the article also mentions several reports which say that Bend Studio is actually interested in working on a sequel to Days Gone, but PlayStation is not.

So what game is Bend Studio working on? Currently there are no leaks about the game title that is being worked on. Even so, it is stated that this game will be released in 2025.

ArtStation page from concept artist Hung Nguy showcases an unannounced game from Bend Studio with a release year of 2025.
