Nigma Galaxy Drops to 2021/2022 WEU DPC Division 2

Nigma Galaxy must be willing to go down in relegation to division 2 in the 2021/2022 WEU DPC event after appearing unsatisfactory throughout the tournament.

The fierce duel of the big Dota 2 teams is rolling again to secure a ticket to appear in the prestigious tournament, The International.

All the teams that will compete later, of course, have to finalize all their preparations and strategies in order to show maximum performance.

Besides that, the return of the DPC tournament will certainly be an interesting spectacle for Dota 2 fans. Because, its presence will present exciting Big Matches from big teams.

A number of organizers from various regions have released schedules and participating teams that will compete in the 2021/2022 DPC Tour 2, including the Western European region.

In this case, Dreamhack became the organizer for the DPC event in the Western Europe region with the title DPC WEU 2021/2022.

DPC WEU 2021/2022 will take place with 2 divisions, namely division 1 and division 2 with 8 teams and the duration of each tournament is 6 weeks. Division 1 took place from March 15 to April 20, while division 2 was from March 14 to April 20 2022.

Nigma Galaxy Dropped to Division 2

Shocking news came from one of the strong teams who had to be relegated from division 2. That team is Nigma Galaxy who must be willing to go down to division 2 in the upcoming DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 3.

The unsatisfactory appearance of the team from Europe is the reason they have to step down from division 1 for the next DPC.

Nigma Galaxy got this bad result after they couldn't get full points in six matches. In other words, KuroKy and friends never won for six matches.

With such results, the team must be satisfied to be at the bottom of the standings as well as ending the end of this season with the bottom position in 8th place.

So, they can no longer catch up with the 3 teams above them, such as Entity, Brame, and Team Secret.

Nigma Galaxy's departure from the 1st division also made their chances to appear in major the three that rolled at Arlington have vanished. 

That way, they have to fight even harder to be able to appear in The International tournament because they have to go through regional qualifications.

This also certainly makes fans of Nigma Galaxy both surprised and disappointed considering that the team has roster experienced. Even roster Nigma Galaxy was a finalist at The International tournament.

Defeat from Team Liquid Makes Nigma Galaxy Relegated

As previously explained, Nigma Galaxy performed quite poorly throughout the 2021/2022 WEU DPC tournament with 6 defeats. 

Apart from making them in the bottom position, they are also relegated to division 2 the following season even though the competition is still rolling until April 20 tomorrow.

They are certain to drop from division 1 after they lost again to Team Liquid.

They became the team that sent KuroKy and friends down to division 2 after appearing dominant and winning with a score of 2-0.

Game 1

Since games First, Nigma Galaxy has been under pressure from opponents because of 4 heroes meele his did not move after Team Liquid chose Necrophos in lastpick.

Not without a fight, Nigma Galaxy tried several times to get out of the pressure by fighting back against the opposing team.

Even though they had withstood the onslaught of their opponents, Nigma Galaxy had to end their resistance in the 42nd minute and their opponents managed to get a point on games first.

Game 2

Even though after that they faced Team Secret, the result of that match would not change Nigma Galaxy's situation down to division 2. In fact, the 2-1 victory over Team Secret still did not make Nigma Galaxy relegated.
