Users Complaint of Screen Issues After May Update

Updates are usually carried out to improve the quality and features of the user's smartphone so that it can be used more optimally.

Recently, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Series received an update in May for the device that was released two years ago.

But instead of reaping positive comments, this South Korean company has received a lot of criticism and complaints.

The reason is that after updating their devices, some users have complained about problems with their smartphone screens.

The problem is finding a pink or green line that suddenly appears on the screen.

Previously, this issue appeared on the Samsung Galaxy S20 series and is now seen on the Galaxy S21 series.

One user on Samsung Community uploaded a post complaining about screen issues after the May update.

The problem is in the form of a pink vertical line that extends from the top edge to the bottom end of the screen.

The user is directed to replace their screen display, which is a very expensive screen replacement price. The cost he has to spend is around $380 or roughly the equivalent of 5.7 million rupiah.

Another user named Rakees also wrote that he suddenly got a green vertical line. The line does not disappear even though it has been done restart device.

The line appears suddenly on his Samsung S21 Ultra, even though the smartphone has never fallen from a height or been exposed to water.

Furthermore, there are other reports on the forum Samsung Community where some cases say that the number of lines that appear can be more than two.

A Samsung S21+ 5G user from Indonesia with the username fenyfenoy is one of those people who has a problem with more than two screen lines.

His smartphone had only been used for 4 months and suddenly a lot of purple, green and black lines appeared that covered half of the screen.

Just like Rakees' case, his Samsung S21+ has never fallen from a height or been exposed to water.

Based on the article from Ghizchina, Samsung finally spoke up and provided a solution when it received enough of the same complaints about screen problems.

Samsung is offering a free display replacement for those users who experience lines on their screen.

However, it is not yet known whether they will use the same policy as the Galaxy 20 series.

Considering the many similar complaints from many of its loyal users, Samsung should take the issue of the Galaxy S21 Series screen problem seriously.

Galaxy S21 Series users need a definite answer as to how this happened and whether it has anything to do with updating this May.
