Matebook Fold, Huawei's First Foldable Laptop, Has Been Released
Huawei officially releases Matebook Fold, laptops their first with folding screen technology. The pre-order session opened last May.
The plan is that this sophisticated laptop will be available starting June 6 and uses HarmonyOS 5 which can adapt to several different modes.

After using the custom operating system Windows, Huawei this time embedded HarmonyOS which is made by the company.
This laptop has a 13” display screen that users can fold up to 90° and will later display a virtual keyboard to support mobility.
Prefer typing using a keyboard hardware? no need to worry. Huawei also provides additional accessories in the package in the form of wireless super thin keyboard with a thickness of 5 mm.
When the screen is fully opened, users will get an 18″ screen display with a vertical or horizontal display that can be adjusted to suit their needs.
What chipset will this laptop use? Until now, there has been no official announcement about the brand and type of Matebook Fold chipset. Huawei only revealed information related to the RAM and internal memory of its latest product.
In addition to being thin, this laptop weighs only 1.16 kg. Looking at the size of the screen, of course the Huawei Matebook Fold is relatively light.
On the screen, this laptop uses dual layer OLED LTPO panel technology with a resolution of 2,472 x 1,648 pixels which is very supportive for HDR content.
In addition, the Matebook Fold already has a higher screen brightness level than the average laptop or other PC panels, which is 1,600 nits. With this brightness, the Matebook Fold is very safe for outdoor use.
This dual layer panel structure can help save power usage up to 30% and extend the panel's service life to make it more durable.
In terms of power, the Huawei Matebook Fold is equipped with a 74.69 battery with two USB-C plugs located on the top and right side of the laptop.
To support audio performance, this laptop provides 6 speaker with 4 microphones that make it easy for users to use it from various sides. The laptop's connectivity uses dual-band Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth version 5.2.

Huawei Matebook Fold has two options with 32 GB RAM specifications and 1 TB or 2 TB internal storage for the highest variant.
