Kafka is a 5 star character released in the second part of update 1.2 after Blade.

This Stellaron Hunter member with a bounty of 10.8 billion is the best support for DoT gameplay.

Kafka Honkai Star Rail Build Recommendations

Kafka was released in update 1.2 in the first phase of the second phase banner alongside the 4 star character Luka.

Both are support with the Nihility path type which can debuff characters using DoT.

Kafka's Material Talent and Character Ascension

Kafka's Ascension character will require: Thief's Instinct, Usurper's Scheme, and Conqueror's Will

Kafka also needs ascension material for Lightning element characters, Shapeshifter's Lightning Staff from Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Doom which is located in Stargazer Navalia, Xianzhou Luofu.

Trace Kafka will require the following materials:

Material Nihility: Obsidian of Dread, Obsidian of Desolation, Obsidian of Obsession
Thief's Instinct, Usurper's Scheme, Conqueror's Will

Trace level 5++ Kafka will need Trace Material Regret of Infinite Ochema obtained from boss Phantylia ( Echo of War: Divine Seed) in Scalegorge Waterscape.

You will only be able to farm this Echo of War if players have completed the Trailblaze Mission: A Dragon Gallant, Its Ocean Distant. Apart from Kafka, Ochema's Regret of Infinite is used by Blades and Luke.

Best Eidolon for Kafka Honkai Star Rail Build

Kafka is a very good unit without an Eidolon, provided that you have built it with a priority Talent, Relic, or Light Cone that supports it.

Eidolon 2, Eidolon 4, and Eidolon 6 are the Eidolon that the authors recommend if you want Kafka to be even more optimal.

Eidolon 2 can increase DMG from DoT characters in the party, Eidolon 4 can regenerate more energy, and Eidolon 6 can increase DoT Shock DMG from various sources (Ultimate, Skill, and others).

Kafka Trace Build Priorities

Kafka's Basic ATK is Midnight Tumult will deal Lightning DMG to one enemy target.

Kafka's skill is Caring Moonlight will deal Lightning DMG to one enemy target and enemies around the target with minor DMG.

will provide a buff that increases the DMG of each of Kafka's Basic ATK for 3 turns. Before 3 turns, this skill will have no effect.

Ultimate Kafka is Twilight Trill Kafka will attack all enemies in an AoE manner that can deal Lightning DMG.

This attack will also immediately give DoT Shock which gives Lightning DMG to the enemy directly without waiting for it to be active in every turn.

If there are still other DoT status effects such as Bleed or Wind Shear, the DoT will also activate immediately and deal DMG without waiting for the enemy's turn.

DoT Shock will also be given to the enemy at the start of each enemy turn for 2 turns.

Talent Kafka namely Gentle but Cruel, Kafka will provide a follow-up attack that deals Lightning DMG when a character in the party uses Basic ATK.

This follow-up attack will also cause DoT Shock for 2 turns. This attack can only be triggered once per turn.

Kafka's technique is Mercy Is Not Forgiveness, Kafka will immediately attack the enemy with Lightning DMG with medium range.

This kit will also cause a DoT Shock effect for 2 turns on enemies similar to Ultimate.

Kafka's gameplay and Trace kit deal the greatest DMG of any DoT app. So that the Trace that you must prioritize the level of the Trace is Ultimate = Skill > Talent.

Relic Recommendations for Build Kafka Honkai Star Rail

Kafka is a character who excels in dealing damage from DoT and strengthening DoT from the party.

Since DoT can't get a DMG increase from Crit, the ATK stat is much more needed to increase the DMG dealt by Kafka.

Stats the ones we recommend for Kafka are ATK, Lightning DMG, and SPD. You can still make stats such as Crit Rate/DMG, Effect Hit Rate, and Break Effect as sub stat options.

In order to support the needs, Kafka's stats are sufficient, the Cavern Relic that you can use for Kafka is Band of Sizzling Thunder and Musketeers of Wild Wheat.

Band of Sizzling Thunder is an option to increase Lightning DMG while Musketeer of Wild Wheat is to increase ATK.

You can use both of these Relics on 2-PC together or with other Relics such as Messenger Transversing Hackerspace which can increase SPD.

The author recommends Kafka to use the Planar Ornament section Fleet of the Ageless, Space Sealing Station, or Talia: Kingdom of Banditry.

The Space Sealing Station will increase ATK and increase even more if the SPD stat is above 120.

Fleet of the Ageless will increase HP and will increase ATK 8% if SPD is above 120. Meanwhile, Talia: Kingdom of Banditry will increase Break Effect.

Light Cone Recommendations for Kafka Builds

Light Cones The recommended Nihility path for Kafka is one that satisfies Kafka's needs.

The author recommends Light Cones which can increase DMG from Ultimate, Skill, or DoT.

However, Light Cones that can increase stats such as Break Effect, Effect Hit Rate, or Speed are still very good to use.

At 5 star rarity, Patience is All You Need become the best Light Cone as well as a signature for Kafka. In the Name of the World could be another 5 star Light Cone option that you can use.

4 star rarity you can use Fermata, Good Night and Sleep Well, and Eyes of the Prey be the best option for Kafka.

For new players you can use Hidden Shadows as a 3 star Light Cone.
