Interesting Facts about Kasumi Miwa in JJK

Kasumi Miwa is one of the characters in the series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a second-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High.

Miwa in JJK has long, light blue hair that falls past her shoulders and frames her forehead. She also has dark, triangular eyebrows and asymmetrical bangs.

He usually wears a long-sleeved black jacket over a light-colored button-down shirt, a black tie, pants, socks, shoes, and a belt that he uses to hold his sword.

When training or fighting, Miwa will tie her hair into a ponytail and wear a dark colored tracksuit.

Miwa's Profile at JJK

Kasumi Miwa was born on April 4, 2001, in Tokyo, to a poor family with two younger brothers. Early on, Miwa was the captain of her youth basketball team, and her mother often dyed her hair black. 

In junior high school, he met a mentor who helped him become a jujutsu master. 

Even though he had never held a sword before, he practiced so as not to be a burden to his mother.

Miwa's Personality

Kasumi Miwa is a kind and diligent girl, not as pessimistic as some of her classmates. She is much calmer, more realistic, and behaves normally. 

Miwa became a witch to earn money and is a fan of Satoru Gojo. This can be seen in how much respect she has for him. Gojo.

And he was willing to forget Gakuganji's orders in order to get a selfie with his idol.

Despite being ordered by the principal Yoshinobu Gakuganji, Miwa felt uncomfortable with her class' attempt to kill Yuji Itadori and apologized for it later. 

The reason he strives so hard to succeed as a jujutsu sorcerer is because he wants to support his two younger brothers.

He constantly calls himself useless and is genuinely afraid that his weakness will cause problems for others who try to protect him. 

Miwa also admits that she holds her sword tightly because she is afraid of dying; however, with the right motivation, she is willing to risk her life against a stronger enemy.

This trait is seen again during the Jujutsu High sorcerer's battle against Sukuna, when he protects Zenin cursed from attack Sukuna with Simple Domain.

Using a Sword or Katana in Fighting

Miwa always carries a katana with her as it is her main weapon in battle and is mainly used to perform New Shadow Style techniques. 

Originally just an ordinary sword, this katana is considered a semi-cursed tool because it has been filled with Miwa's cursed energy for a long time.

Maki disarmed Kasumi's katana and stole it from her during their fight. The sword was later destroyed by Maki when used against Hanami.

Later, Mowa obtains another katana which he uses at the end of the Shibuya Incident before its blade is destroyed by Pseudo-Geto.

Abilities and Powers Possessed by Miwa in JJK

General Ability Level

Kasumi Miwa is a jujutsu sorcerer who uses the New Shadow Style sword technique. 

His abilities are on par with the average wizard, and what he lacks in innate cursed techniques he makes up for with his work ethic.

He is able to use the sword and New Shadow Style techniques effectively, such as when he dispelled several curses in one sword slash during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons. 

However, he was unable to defeat Maki during the Goodwill Event, and his efforts against powerful magicians like Pseudo-Geto were also in vain in Shibuya.

Making the Oath of Marriage 

Miwa made a binding oath during his attack on Pseudo-Geto to strengthen the slashing attack of his Batto Sword Drawing technique by swearing never to swing a katana again.

However, the sword was blocked and destroyed by Pseudo-Geto with his hand.

New Shadow Style:Simple Domain 

An anti-domain technique that neutralizes domain barriers and disables the effects of certain attacks in a certain area of space around the user. 

After Miwa took the right position, she created a domain with a radius of 2.21 meters around her. 

Everything that entered this space was automatically repelled by Kasumi's sword. 

As part of the oath of bond to perform Simple Domain, if both of Miwa's feet leave their initial stance, the technique will be dispelled.

Battō Sword Drawing Technique

A New Shadow Style technique that uses cursed energy to surround the blade of the sword when it is sheathed and spins it to create incredible speed when he draws the sword. 

This is the fastest sword technique in the New Shadow Style.

Close to Mechamaru or Kokichi Muta

Among all the students in Kyoto, only Kokichi aka Mechamaru and Miwa are suspected of having a special closeness.

This can be seen during the Shibuya incident, where Mechamaru told Miwa to retreat because the situation in Shibuya itself was very dangerous.

Mechamaru was even willing to make a binding oath with Kenjaku on the condition that all his comrades, including Miwa, would not be harmed.

In his final moments, Mechamaru also expressed his feelings and hoped that Miwa could find her own happiness.

Unfortunately, Mechamaru and Miwa themselves could not meet forever because Kokichi had fallen at the hands of Mahito.
