On Minecraft: Java Edition, there are a total of 17 different types of flowers in the Minecraft game with more updates in the future. However, certain flowers will not appear outside of certain biomes, making it somewhat difficult if the player doesn't know the flower's true location. 

Luckily, finding these flowers is easy to come by. Even though there are indeed several types of flowers in the Minecraft game it is difficult to get.

Flowers in Minecraft come in a wide variety, out of 17 types. Flowers in Minecraft can be used to make dye or put in pots for decoration. 

The flower can also be picked from the ground by simply left-clicking on the flower. DaMinecraft flowers add a beautiful look to environments and an extra level of class to anything around. Flowers lay all over biome except desert and snow biomes. 

In each biome, you can use bone meal to spawn flowers; Even in the snow biome, you can spawn flowers by crushing the snow covering the ground, but you cannot use bone meal to spawn flowers in the desert biome.

With so many flower variants, each with its own use, you have to know the location of this flower. Most will only be spawned within certain biomes, but others will require a little effort for the player to find.

Dandelions

First up there are Dandelions, along with Poppies, are some of the most common flowers in Minecraft. They are yellow in color and are found in the plains, forest, and mountain prairie biomes. They can also be crafted in a swamp biome using bone meal in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition .

Poppy

Another very common type of flower in Minecraft, Poppies are red and are found in the same biome as Dandelions. They can also be crafted in the swamp biome in Minecraft: Bedrock through the use of bone meal.

Blue Orchid

The Blue Orchid is only found in the swamp biome.

Allium

The magenta Allium flower is found in the flower forests and mountain meadow biomes.

Azure Bluet

Next up is the Azure Bluet flower. This flower does this somewhat contrary to its name, retaining a grayish color and can be found in plains, flower forests, and mountain meadow biomes.

Tulips

Tulip flowers come in a variety of colors (red, pink, orange, gray) and are found in the land and flower forest biomes.

Daisy

Oxeye Aster or Daisy has a white/gray color and can be found in plains, flower forests, and mountain meadow biomes.

Corn Flower

Cornflower has a deep navy blue color, Cornflower spawns in all the same locations as Oxeye Daisies.

Lily 

This bright white flower appears within the flower forest biome. It can also be generated in the forest biome.

Withered Rose

Unlike many other flowers, the Wither Rose only appears when the Wither boss mob kills another mob. Roses will be placed in mass dying areas, or will be dropped in their location if they cannot be planted.

Sunflower

As the name suggests, bright yellow Sunflowers appear within the sunflower plains biome.

Purple

Magenta-colored lilacs can be seen in lush biomes.

Rose Bush

Ruby rose bushes are often found in flower forests but can also be grown via bone meal in forest biomes.

Peonies

Light pink Peonies can be found and crafted in the same location as the Rose Bush in this game.
