Official iPhone 17 Pro Max Price and How to Buy it in Indonesia

So now without further ado, let's get straight to the main discussion, namely the price and how to buy the official iPhone 17 Pro Max in Indonesia.

Following its release on September 19th, the latest lineup from the technology giant with the "torn" fruit logo immediately became the talk of the town and trending everywhere.

Launching from the official site iBox Indonesia, all variants iPhones 17 will officially arrive in Indonesia. This is certainly good news for all Apple fanboys across the country.

However, as of this writing, the new units are not yet physically available for sale. Even in official stores, all variants are available. iPhone 17 only pre-order (PO) is available.

And that's still just the registration stage. The PO kick-off date isn't until October 10, 2025. So, it's still possible to start saving now.

As for the price, there's currently no official price tag from iBox Indonesia, converted to IDR. So, here are the prices on the local market:

It's important to remember that the prices above do not include import taxes, which will be charged to buyers/prospective owners of the iPhone 17 as imported goods. If you wait for the official iBox price (including taxes and other duties), the pre-order price could increase to several times the original price! However, if you want to buy it yourself from abroad and bring it in as personal property, the Import Tax (PDRI) calculation is as follows:

And to illustrate, based on the calculations above, the normal PDRI for a single iPhone 17 Pro Max from abroad is around IDR, only 4 million rupiah! So, it's more than worth it, right?
