God of War Ragnarok Release Schedule Announced!

God of War Ragnarok has officially uploaded a new short CG trailer titled Father and Son. The trailer shows Kratos and Atreus fighting various enemies such as a large and terrible wolf.

The wolf that appears in the trailer is Fenrir. He is the son of Loki according to Norse mythology. In the trailer, fans God of War surely knowing that the wolf that attacked Kratos and Atreus is not good news for them.

Sony has also announced the pre-order date for the latest God of War game, which is July 15. They also simultaneously show a separate edition of the game which this article will discuss briefly below. Don't miss it!

Release Schedule God of War Ragnarok

Originally, Sony planned to release the game in 2021. However, Sony was forced to postpone the release date to 2022 because voice actor Christopher Judge underwent surgery.

Reporting from IGN, initially this game will be released in September. Then it remains delayed until November. According to IGN, Santa Monica Studio has confirmed pre-orders for God of War Ragnarok, which will be available starting July 15.

The official release date is good news for God of War fans, especially for fans who have been waiting months for news about the release date for God of War Ragnarok.

Platform God of War Ragnarok

God of War Ragnarok will be officially released for the PS4 and PS5 platforms. This game has been confirmed to be released for both platforms even though PlayStation has launched PS5, a newer version of the platform than PS4.

According to Herman Hulst, the decision to release the PS4 version of the game makes perfect sense because there are still many God of War fans who use PS4. If they want to upgrade to PS5, God of War Ragnarok is also available for them to play.

Most likely, God of War Ragnarok will be available for both PS4 and PS5 simultaneously. However, will PC users be able to enjoy this new God of War game?

Unfortunately, information regarding whether this game will be present on PC or not cannot be confirmed. In recent years, Sony has released a lot of games on PC, just a few moments after their release. God of War came to PC a few years after its official release date, so it's possible that this new game could come to the PC platform.
