Aki is a Devil Hunter who works for a special force commanded by Makima. He was the person who first became teammates with Denji who was a new kid at that time.

He is often seen in his Public Safety Devil Hunter uniform, which is a black suit and tie. Aki has shoulder length hair which she often wears in a ponytail.

When he first joined this organization, he was paired with Himeno through a recommendation from Kishibe.

Aki has reflexes above the average human, where he can balance Katana Man. His reflexes became even more developed when he made a pact with Future Devil.

There are four devils who have made a pact with Aki, they are Curse Devil, Fox Devil, Future Devil, and Control Devil.

Curse Devil

With his agreement with the Curse Devil, Aki received a sword that was shaped like a nail.

He will aim his nails at any part of his opponent's body then say "shoot" and the Curse Devil's hands will appear and flick the tips of his nails to deliver an attack.

By stabbing his opponent three times with the spikes, Aki can summon the Curse Devil. Aki's lifespan will be shortened every time he uses this technique.

Fox Devil

Aki originally had an agreement with Fox Devil. By exchanging body parts to feed the demon.

He will raise one hand and say the word “KON” to make the Fox Devil's head appear and bite his target.

Aki lost the power to summon Fox Devil after using it during the fight against Katana Man.

Future Devil

After his agreement with Fox Devil ended, Aki was brought to Future Devil who was being imprisoned by the Public Safety Devil Hunter.

He then managed to get a contract to use the Future Devil's power by giving the devil a place to live in his right eye.

With the power of the Future Devil, Aki can see the future for a few seconds. He uses this to predict the movements of his opponents.

Control Devil

In exchange for getting power from the Control Devil, Aki then made a pact with this devil.
