With 12 days remaining before the Mobile Legends Professional League for Indonesia, MPL ID season 9 will start soon.

The battle between Onic, who clearly wants to defend his throne, and 7 other teams who want to win the title in Mobile Legends MPL ID Season 9 will start on 18 February 2022 to 24 April 2022.

Major changes have been made by eight teams to strengthen their squads for the upcoming season. While RRQ is focused on regeneration by promoting the new youngsters from RRQ sena, Aura Fire is preparing to make another surprise for the big team with their old roster led by Kabuki.

MPL ID Season 9 Mobile Legends Tournament Format

The tournament format will be divided into two phases, the first is the Regular Season and the second is the Play-offs.

Regular Season

In the regular season, it will be held in a double-Robin Round when each team will clash against each other twice. All matches are Best of Three (Bo3) matches with the following rules:

• The winning team will get 2 points if they manage to win the match in two consecutive matches (2-0)
• The winning team will get 1 point if they manage to win the game in three matches (3-0)
• The losing team will lose 2 points if they lose two games in a row (0-2)
• The losing team will lose 1 point if they lose all three matches (1-2)

Play-offs

The top 6 teams will proceed to the play-offs, where there will be a hybrid elimination with the following rules:

• The seeded teams 3 and 6 will compete in round 1 (Single Elimination)
• Seeds 1 and 2 will get to the next round and will start round 2 (Double Elimination)
• All matches during the play-off round are Best of 5 matches (Bo5) while the grand final will be best of 7 matches (Bo7)

Schedule and Locations of Mobile Legends MPL ID Season 9

Mobile Legends MPL-ID Season 9 will start on 18 February 2022 to 24 April 2022. The tournament will be held offline at MPL Arena Jakarta. Future schedules for the regular season will be announced later.

Mobile Legends MPL ID Season 9 Prize Pool

For this season, there is $300,000 USD, which is the Prize Pool. This prize will be distributed to the competing teams below:

• 1st $140,000 
• 2nd $67,200 
• 3rd $28,000 
• 4th $16,800 
• 5th-6th $10,525 
• 7th-8th $7,725

There are no additional teams to play in this season as eight teams will be competing against each other. This season will be the second season for Rebellion Zion. The following is a complete list of each participating team:

Mobile Legends MPL ID Season 9 prediction
